I’m sure you will, but keep us updated on how it runs at the track! Still playing the Eaton game over here as well. After I break low 10’s on this simple set up, I’m gonna be going to either a VMP 2.3, or I’m gonna try and get an old school Kenne Bell just for the nostalgia.
Will do man! Hoping to recover before I lose my boost weather down here in Florida.I’m sure you will, but keep us updated on how it runs at the track! Still playing the Eaton game over here as well.
I could be wrong but I believe they can be seen above the exhast manifolds...which means, you will need to be underneath. Someone will correct me if I'm off here.I tried to find the casting date of my heads but couldn't find them. Must not be looking in the right spot. Can they be seen from the top of the engine???
I started recording a video on my phone and then put it down into my engine bay from the top and I was able to see pretty much all the castings on my heads. That's how I found out my car has AG heads.I tried to find the casting date of my heads but couldn't find them. Must not be looking in the right spot. Can they be seen from the top of the engine???
It the casting on the 'inboard' side of the head, or the 'outboard' side, by the exhaust manifold?I started recording a video on my phone and then put it down into my engine bay from the top and I was able to see pretty much all the castings on my heads. That's how I found out my car has AG heads.

It’s above exhaust manifold. If you have a flex head mechanics mirror you can see it from under the hood. Or try with your phone like JP said.It the casting on the 'inboard' side of the head, or the 'outboard' side, by the exhaust manifold?
It would be above the exhaust manifold. I managed to fit my phone in there on the drivers side near the firewall pretty easily and get a good shot of the casting. It did take me a few attempts before I actually got a good video of the casting. If you do it my way, make sure you record with the flash on too.It the casting on the 'inboard' side of the head, or the 'outboard' side, by the exhaust manifold?
**** those new turds!Hit up a local show. Lost to a couple stock new GT500's and Mach's. But it was a crowd favorite.
Lol. The dude in the GT500 wore driving gloves and put knee pads on to clean his wheels. In the grass.**** those new turds!
Looking good dude!
Thanks for the tip. I couldn't get my big mitts down there, and ended up dangling my phone down the side of the engine on a string to get a shakey video of the casting. Happy to see it is a "-DB" casting. It would be above the exhaust manifold. I managed to fit my phone in there on the drivers side near the firewall pretty easily and get a good shot of the casting.
