In my opinion and I’m not a doctor, with how you feel I’d jump on.

Just remember it’s for life.
You don’t want a testosterone “roll on” or gel.
Its injections or get out.
You don’t want to “sample” it.
Commit or don’t do it.

I was a little hesitant about the needles at first.

I think it was a bit of a stigma for me because I associate it with IV drug users. Not sure.

It’s maybe a 1 on the pain scale. Less than someone snapping a rubber band on your arm.

I think it’s the sensation and visual that get people.

Been having some sciatic and tight quad/hip pain and have been using those roll on lidocaine sticks prior to stretching. Found out by accident that it makes the whole ordeal almost without any sensation.

Few guys I know do the time release pellets in their glutes. They’ve tried both and prefer the pellets.

Low T is bad for your long term health.

My hormone doctor (Elevate Medical) and my primary physician (Naples) are both on board and happy with my protocol.

Good luck in Illinois. You’ll most likely never find a doctor that will help you.

Look into Defy which @03Sssnake uses. Based in Florida of course.

Those pellets are on average $700 a pop and once they’re in you are at the mercy of it. There’s no adjusting dosages. Just wait until it tapers off and redo them. Bam. Another $700. Another roller coaster ride.
I’d never do it myself.

Is the roll on really that bad (meaning no results). That would be easy for me. Lol

The pharmacy compounded cream works. The andro gel crap is worthless and not the same thing. I do injections 2x a week (split my dose) and sometimes do compounded cream as needed between injections. I don’t really do it often to be honest, mainly just stick to my injection protocol.. but sometimes on weekends, might rub some on the nads for a pick me up.

@ArabianOak I said this many pages back, TRT is the best thing I ever did for myself.

With regard to providers. I like Defy Medical and Elevate, both are Florida telmeds. I can almost guarantee you will probably have to go telmed, but if you have good rapport with your doc, no harm in trying there first. Just keep in mind most aren’t comfortable prescribing because of the past stigma with testosterone in sports, bodybuilding etc and they are prejudiced against TRT.

Yep.

Just offering an alternative and I know several guys that chose that route without issue.

thanks...im almost certain my T is low at this point...that test was from last year and the last few months I have been feeling like total crap with the same diet and routine that used to make me feel just fine. I do muay thai once a week and can barely walk for two days after, which makes no sense considering I don't get away from my workout routine at all. I'm assuming recovery is much better on T? That would be a big plus for me.

I’ve never done anything but injections.

Elevate doesn’t even sell or get involved with gels or creams because the results are not good.
The testosterone has to be absorbed through the skin. That’s just not ideal.

With the half life of Test cypionate, optimal injections are done every 3.5 days.
Some might do it once a week but that’s as long as I would go.

If you don’t see yourself being able to do injections then you’re not ready for the commitment and should wait until you feel worse.
I know this sounds harsh but it’s the reality of making a LIFETIME commitment.
Jmho.

One thing to keep in mind are those testosterone ranges are based on the results of guys getting tested, whom are mostly middle aged guys that don’t feel good and you were at the lower end of that range.. some doctors will say that’s just fine, your normal, but that’s just bullshit and far from optimal. You will recover better, have more energy and libido thru the roof. However it is a commitment, though I doubt you will ever want to hop off once you get on TRT. I prefer the injections, its the most consistent delivery method and once you do it a few times, not a big deal. You can do them IM or SUBQ, I personally prefer IM/intramuscular injections.

Not at all, other than some back acne and morning wood that won’t go away:LOL:

If your TRT protocol is done right, you should be in a good mood. We are just talking therapeutic doses, not crazy super-physiological bodybuilder doses. Also anabolic compounds like Testosterone aren’t really known for that, there is really only one out there that can have that Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde effect and that’s Trenbolone. No doctor will be prescribing that, they don’t even give it to cattle anymore.

I agree

I’ve come off TRT… and it was bad. Cause I was broke.

It was way worse than before I started.

I with them have realized it’s a forever thing
