So if your motor is so much better than a 5.0.....Why does my N/A 5.0 make over 115rwhp more than your car? And my motor is smaller. That is kinda weird. You have 1 cam, I have 1 cam, you have aluminum heads, I have aluminum heads, you have 16 valves, I have 16 valves....Hell you have an aluminum block and I'm still stuck in 1962 with an iron block. Yet my car would blow your car away. Weird....

Why don't you line up next to it? It wouldn't need a cam/exhaust and tires to drag you.. Hell, he could probably do it 3/4 throttle while giving you the jump.

Fox FTW. Who remembers that thread just a month or so ago with the 347 fox on spray racing a vette. Hell people were saying that the vette would drag the fox by bus lengths. That was a mild 347 with a small shot against a z06 with a few mods. That fox wasnt making anywhere near the power this one is and it won that race. This is a pretty aggressive 408 against a stock z06. A new z06 is a dirty car from the factory but is no match for a fox with a big stroker motor. I cant believe anyone thinks this race will be close.....

A stock C6 Z06 stands absolutely no chance at all against a well built 408 fox. It MIGHT be a good race if they go from a 70mph roll. The lower the roll the worse it will be for the Vette.
