Drove a Ford GT yesterday!

EDIT: I think someone should call the dealership, since we now know the number, and ask the guy if he lets this little guy drive all of his cars unsupervised on a regular basis.

FWIW, I know the cost of a testarossa, I was more or less pointing out the coincidence in you knowing two close, personal friends (including an uncle) that both have that vehicle....as they're still relatively rare.

But what would I know? I'm just a lowly mustang owner. :shrug:

^^^ahah yea it sure went way out of hand......and it is legit, i am not lying, and i make 9.50 an hour and i am a full time student in college...suck it, an di will own one, and i do drive them...and as to washing and waxing on a regular basis, that was geard more towards the ferrari and the vette, i only waxed the gt once, but i wash it like 3 times a week....so have a good one..im done

ok, correction, my uncle with the TR he sold is the one who wants us to stay str8, we just drive the neighbors TR/Lambo cause he is too hammered to drive it back home...give me a break with every little detail...and i guess they are somewhat rare...idk they arent dime a dozen, but they are around the CT/New England are, we have a huge Ferrari Club of New England here....

How I am a hypocrite? You can do the same thing to a cobra, gotta have the right mods that's all, you can make a cobra just as fast as a gt500 and GT, whether it be a S/C or Turbo or twins, like I mentioned before.

Honestly, although he told a stupid story about it being like his Mustang, the scenario isn't really that unbelievable. I used to know rich kids that lived in Highland park, (where Michael Jordan has a house) that used to drive around in their parents Lambos and Ferraris. Some of them also got $50k-$100k+ cars for their 16th birthdays.

I guess a GT500 is much better than a Ferrari F430 too because most people just have them sit in a garage and dont race them and because you could put a pulley on the GT500 and beat the Ferrari on the highway. You are a clown... Heres alittle bit of a hint for you. Ford GT's sit in garages safe because they are a very limited build car worth something. A GT500 is just a Mustang.

Umm, actually not really. I would say only about 10% of exotic cars are treated like Garage queen's. See most people who can afford a Ford GT, Ferrari, Lambo, Viper etc can afford to replace it if they wreck it. Just go to the Poccono's track on Memorial Day. You will see Ferrari's, Lambo's, Ford GT's, Vipers and Z06 Vette's racing on the big track. There actually was 1 GT500 there as well. Believe it or not he didn't do to bad either considering the competition. Ford GT's are not that limited. They made over 3500 of them. They are rare but not like an Enzo, Saleen S7 or a Bugatti Veryon.
Yes there are some that sit in garage's etc.
I will admit when I buy mine in the next two years, it probably won't being seeing the track, but it will get driven and driven fast. Then again I plan to buy a 2008 or 2009 VIper ACR just for the wife (with condition I get to use it on the big track).
