Looking to upgrade shifters. i have it narrowed down to either Pro-5.0 or the Steeda Tri-ax. Let's see what everyone recommends.

had the mgw in my 07 GT and just put one in my 04 cobra. amazing shifters, best imo. the install is straight forward. pop out the plastic trim, unplug cig lighter, and remove the 4 bolts.

Running a Pro5.0 myself, absolutely no complaints. They are cake to install, might consider changing the trans fluid while you have the shifter,if you haven`t done it yet. Also, back off the stops on the shifter. The T-56 has internal stops.

i'm still running my stock shifter with a fatknob on it, and believe it or no when the clutch cable is adjusted properly, it's actually awesome and i never miss a shift!

i have an mgw in the garage waiting to go on, so maybe ignorance is bliss for me right now, and i will realize what i have been missing.

but as long as the clutch adjustment is set, the stock shifter seems to do the job pretty well imo

Wait a sec, so you posted a thread asking what everyone recommends, and not a single person recommended the Pro5.0, and yet to save $10 you went with the Pro5.0 rather than the MGW?

I really just went with my gut. I wanted others opinions, but went with what i have personally used and been comfortable with in the past. If i don't like it i promise to try the MGW next.
