I am going to try and go to this! I probably won't run though, I've had my car for almost 4 years and I have never been down the strip with it, so I don't want to make a fool of myself during this, lol. I've wanted to run it, I just have never had the time to!
We should all meet eachother when we get there.. i'll be in the DSG whippled Cobra on slicks and skinnies. If you see Rick, you'll probably see me.
Craigsnake I'm going just got my termi the 28th looking to run, you should be able to beat me to make yourself look better, hahah. I'll also be in a DSG termi with stock wheels and goodyear eagle's

I checked the weather..says it should be sunny tomorrow :]
I decided that I am going to be making a few passes down the strip, borrowing a helmet from a friend and I just started on getting my car ready for tomorrow.
the rain will be gone, now i dont know about it being to cold. they didnt open wens or fri because it was to cold. ill call before i go tomarrow. high of 49 tomarrow...
alrighty it starts at 10, am i bringing the helmet again or are you gonna use someone elses? also i will be there in the GT

I called OSW and according the the recorded message the track is open today.
I'm nor sure when it was recorded of if they anticipated these types of temps.
Justin from VMP Tuning is trying to get a hold of Randy form OSW for confirmation.
I'll post up shortly if/when I hear anything.

Got a big line so it looks lime were on!
You guys aren't going to believe this.
On the way to the track my hood flies open smashes the wind shield, broke the cowl, bent the wipers and broke the hood in several places.
I don't know if the wind shield frame is bent.
This really makes for a bad day!!
You guys be very careful on the cold track and please double check you hood is securely latched!!!!
