Mystichrome Owners build dates and numbers(only please)(Merged threads)

I have been collecting data and hard to get items on the 03 & 04 Cobra's for years. I started before the vehicles were released. I went back to check on what window stickers I had on file and noticed this one that had a production date of 12-10-03. It must have been from one of the very first produced. At first I thought maybe December 10, 2003 fell on a Friday and production started back up on Monday December 13, 2003. But I went back and looked and found that December 10, 2003 was a Wednesday. Just thought I would share if anyone found it interesting.

Interesting that this window sticker indicates a production date of 10 Dec 03, when the earliest date we have on record from a member is 17 Dec 03. I wonder if there were some initial problems with the painting process that delayed full production for a week???:shrug:

I have seen a few window stickers that show a build date that differ from the matching SVT Certificate by a day or two. Never before by a full week. What is the lowest Mystichrome build number you have on file?

See above - 24 is the lowest build number I have reported, but the owner didn't provide the build date...:shrug:

This got me to thinking so I checked my window sticker as well as SVT documentation and found that my window sticker states 12-08-03, while my SVT cert states 12-18-03. By looking at the above list I have the only one built on the 18th.:shrug:

I guess it is possible that the VIN's were issued (date on Window Sticker) on some of the early cars and then DAP held them longer than usual before assigning the blend number and entering them into production. That would explain why the SVT Certificate and the window sticker show a wide date range.

#107 of 1010 mystichrome here .... not sure when it was built ... how would i be albe to find out ... maybe call svt ? By the way if ur wondering that 107 was already checked in, it is but i bought it from Geno-04 a couple months ago ... car is amazing, thanks geno !!! :burnout:

That would explain why the SVT Certificate and the window sticker show a wide date range.

I know they will store up to 400 painted "Bucks" in a large building and pull them as needed for production. There was probably a slight delay when the option package first went into production that casued the issue with the wide date range.
