lol you are funny~! you are a navy shoe that has a collateral duty on the ship. do not try make everyone believe that you are this highly trained pirate hunter and thats all you do in the navy. i have flown with some of you guys and i know that you are undertrained and over confident in your skills. i also am aware that that it isnt your fault. you are some young guy stuck on the ship and we all know that it sucks, so you get a collateral job and get to wear a really neat tac-vast and get a machine gun and all of the sudden you are an authority on weapons, tactics, communications ect...ect... give it a rest. this was for entertainment and based on a video game. stop being a douche.
on the other hand if you are part of the Coast Guard Tactical Le-Det then you are probably pretty badass, but then you wouldnt be talkng shit about a movie that is about a video game, in which case....STOP BEING A DOUCHE~!

So it's okay to muzzle your team mates? They did it at least 5 times in that film (That's the biggest issue I had with the whole thing & made everything else lose credibility with me.)
Are you so super cool tactic00l ,you say corny shit like 'stay frosty' & run a Wal-Mart optic like in pt2? So who the **** are you, again?
I'm 37 & my 20 is about up. You have NO idea what the **** I've done, where I've been or how I've been trained. I'm not an 'expert' operator type, but I know bullshit when I see it.Unlike most people on here, I didn't get my gun knowlege solely from MW. In retrospect, I sometimes forget I'm not on Lightfighter.net & would have just kept my initial comment to myself.

Its a ****in youtube movie...I supose your ass could do better? Bet not?

I'm military, I dont expect everything to be perfect, no. Its impossible, I watch military movies and joke and laugh at them but those are multi million dollar movies, these are some joes doing YOUTUBE videos, IMHO thats pretty ****ing amazing!

actually i know exactly how you have been trained and even though i do not know any specifics on the encounters you have personally had, i still know exactly what you have done and what paltform you have done them from. i KNOW for a fact that you are a surface Sailor and that your rate has you billeted on a ship. i also know for a fact that being part of the VBSS team, Pirate Interdiction Team ect..ect...is NOT your primary job it is a collateral duty. i am not trying to take anything away from the importance of your collateral duty, in fact i think it is necessary and important. i just think you have over stepped your bounds of expertise in this matter. this thread was about some people that think that special operations type stuff is cool so they spent the time and energy to make several short movies about it. there are NO movies out there that are 100% tactically correct.
it is never ok to lose muzzle discipline, its not ok to constantly talk on the radios like you are on your cell phone with one of your friends and there are things on there that a real operator would probably never do...i say probably because i honestly dont know...BUT this is what i do know. this is a video on youtube based on a freaking X-BOX game. think about that before you jump right in and let everyone know how ****ed up it is based on your tactical "expertise". not one person on this thread read your analysis of this movie and thought you were this really awesome CQB, tactical, pirate hunting, weapons expert.

When you've been trained in CQB, "over analysis'' isn't necessary, you just notice. Especially when it comes to safety. I.E not shooting your own team members..Adittionally,if you know anything about AR's, you also can spot garbage when you see it.Ghost is a badass in the game & he rates nothing less than a genuine Colt or a Knights Armament with an Aimpoint. Glad ya'll we're so easily impressed, though. I'm sure you like "Iron Eagle'',too.

You do realize nearly every picture film created isn't going to be 100% accurate on facts and props. This was a short film based off a video games, not a good damn training video meant to mis inform people for real life situations.

Then what's the problem? Thats it..You agree with me. Give it a rest. It doesn't take a goddam SEAL to understand some basic fundamentals..Yeah.It's a video game..& not really worth the bandwidth being spent in here..But I didn't expect so many in here to act like THEY made the ****ing video & got their feelings hurt based on a little criticism.
At least be accurate about the shit that matters..IE The gun & how it's handled.
So what is it you do again?

cool movie for what looks to be a college kid with little to no cash spent on the movies, sure they weren't entirely accurate but it is based off a video game. Hell of a lot better than what I could produce.

I can't speak for anyone else, but his credibility was lost when he really thought that DPMS rifles are shit. All the tacticool bs aside, I actually got a slight snicker out of that line.:lol1:

That's just the thing. Most people here are not trained to handle guns or be in these types of situations. These guys probably did not have the biggest budget in the world to buy the best guns in the planet and they were more likely showing off their special effects skills more than their acting skills. We are not all trained military personnel so don't be surprised if we get impressed so easy.

Yes DPMS rifles are shit. Right down there with Olympic.
DPMS is for people who 'just want an AR'.

You don't know shit. You are quite the little know-it-all your damn self. Did you get your gun knowlege playing COD, too? Do you use the term DEAGLE in reference to IAI's .50AE hand gun? Then fine..Get back to your game controller where you belong.
Yeah ...Just like someone else said..The original videos were LAME..At least compared to the actual game..At least IW didn't have their characters muzzle each other. All these guys did was bite off of the game itself.

lol. No, just remember that most of the people here do not have the experience and training that you may have. Kind of like when you talk to someone that doesn't know much about cars. You don't tell them they are dumb for not knowing some car related things.

lol apparently i DO know shit~! you have NOT denied anything that i have said about you. i have you pegged and you know it. im not the guy that came on here and over inflated my profession. and sure someone else did say that they thought the videos were lame but after that they didnt go on this tangent about muzzle control and proper communications...ect...ect...ect....YOU, however, did~! so in closing, PO1, , pirate interdiction collateral duty ship guy it seems like i do know shit and it just bothers you that you know it too. and so you know i havent played a video game in literally years, so dont try to get off topic....you acted like a dipshit and im pretty sure that it how you probably act around the ship too. which means the guys you work with also think you act like a dipshit.

i shouldnt have put the last sentence in there...it just made me sound ****ing mean......so sorry about that last line, it has nothing to do with our agurement.

I backed up why I thought it was lame.
Just because you say you know this or that..Unless you back it up, you don't know shit. Who the **** are you? Some kind of COD fan-boi? You are ****ing hilarious in ways you don't have any clue about. Am I supposed to bow down in the presence of your awesomeness? If I am, I stand corrected.

Dude.. You're at Mayport!
You a self hating LAMPS guy?
I've seen your car. Did you buy it recently? Because it looks just like Justin's Notch with a "BYE LS1" tag..Same wheels but all silver..As far as I know he still has it.

what does this have to do with COD and weather i play it or not? i dont play it and im not all that into video games. as a matter of fact i dont even have an X-BOX or PS3. and this isnt about if i like it or i dont like it or if i play or dont play. it is about YOU. and i have already backed it up. like i said before i had you pegged after your very first post. so like i also said before, i DO know shit. go back and read everything that i wrote and find in there where i implied that you should "bow down in the presence of my awesomeness". you will be looking for a while because i never said it or implied it in fact im just not that kind of person. i just pointed out that in this case you were being a complete douche torward some people that put alot of effort and time into making something entertaining for others.
and just so you know i want to touch on the fact that i also said what you do is important and needed. i wasnt slamming your job, just your approach to this particular topic.

yes i am at mayport,i am a LAMPS guy, but not a self hating LAMPS guy. BUT for the record, I DO HATE LAMPS thats for sure~! i bought the car 3 or 4years ago in Ga. and im not sure of the guys name but im pretty sure it wasnt Justin. it was already painted when i bought it and everything else was done by me and my friends in our mustang club. i havent seen the silver notch you are talking about but it sounds like a nice car. i hope i see it around sometime.

btw way even though you think i dont know shit i hope you have a great day. even though we are at a disagreement on this topic it will not ever extend outside of this thread.
