Been datalogging my 98 cobra, 100% stock vehicle, check out the timing transition at 5200.... drops down to 19ish degrees (green trace). Annoyingly I can't find a way to datalog any working knock retard on this car.... Anyone have the stock timing map to look at? Does your 96-98 cobro do this?
If anyone is curious the voltage reg is different. Not sure what the mountaineer uses, probably ECU controlled but will probably need to be swapped with the cobra/mark8 reg to work
Seems like other 4 valves/'some' 2 valves are the same? Physically looks the same. Yet rockauto has different part numbers. Anyone know what other alts interchange?

Seat recommendations? Looking to shelve my heavy mystichrome seats, looking for something comfy, recline able and at least lighter than stock seats. Recommendations? Don't really want to spend more than 1k....
Just build a 96-98 cobra... or GT... you're gonna SRA swap the terminator anyways... Also a turbo motor on a terminator with stock ECU is stupid, you won't have knock sensors (which you would have with a stock 96-98 cobra ECU). This is all kinds of retarded
Long terms are also o2 based... the problem with long terms tho like I said is the learn parameters. Stick to short terms for brake/carb clean checks.
Put a gauge on the line, make sure it has full vacuum and no leaks or restrictions
I mean... sounds like you convinced yourself a slightly leaking line was the culprit after u made huge changes to the MAF table :P
Have you put a gauge on the line going to the FPRS and verifying it is actually reading manifold vacuum? What source is it coming from? Got pics?
You're relying...
Idles fine... idle vacuum is fine...doesn't throw codes at idle or WOT only at high rpm light load. Eventually I'll do a comp test but like I said I did one last summer. Tune is on the fat side so doubtful anything is hurt.
I put the rest of the OEM coils back in, checked the crank sensor connector, blew it out with some electrical cleaner and compressed air, made some adjustments to the high rpm light throttle A/F targets in the cal... took it for a hard drive and it was good... for a while... threw more misfires...
