I know that most machinist will only charge about 200 to bore cylinders to .020 over. pistons rings and gaskets will run 1000 bucks. Even a that the lowest I can go is 17500 man. thats a freaking steal for a whippled cobra and all supporting mods.

the problem is i dont have time to do work myself anymore, the problem that i had with my 03 is that i had to bore all cylinders to new pistons specs, and thats what i think has to be done to your car, i can give you 16k for the car, maybe 16.5k if yo were local, i dont want to beat you down on a price, just understand where im coming from on this repair.

hey how are you, where is the car located, im in FL so i need to know how much for the towing or shipping to get the car here, i have been reading your other posts about that cylinder showing no pressure, in my opinion you need to take the motor out and to a rebuild, thats what happened to my last cobra. for how much are you willing to sell it for, we could possibly close the transaction on this car by the end on next week, i have cash on hand, no loans no bs..

Just a FYI there is a red 97 cobra for sale in town that is similar to the one that you want. check out craigslist el paso i think its for 10,500 but its been for sale for a while so you can talk him down on the price. g/l
