Hey guys I’m planning on doing the HCM on my 04 cobra. Just wondering what the best mod is out there? And would I have to pull the transmission or the blower? How hard is the job?

Do you need to replace your clutch? That's how I made my decision to install the one that car with my car (https://www.lethalperformance.com/lethal-performance-gen-2-head-cooling-mod.html) . I pulled the blower to clean the intercooler but then upgraded the blower. Pulling the blower is straight forward and fairly easy with an extra set of hands. Some people can install the Lethal HCM without pulling the blower.

I'm not sure which one is better.

Nope my clutch is good, I’m just doing it for insurance. Just wondering if I’d need to just pull the blower off or the trans. Is the other mmr mod better?

All the behind the engine head cooling mods made now require egr being removed. Keep that in mind.

and if Dagastino (or however ya spell it) still shows the old LDC style on their site DO NOT BUY IT. That site will take your order and money but you'll never get your part or a response

Very timely discussion. Joe and Mike - Can either of you confirm that the EGR tube protruding from the primary actually needs to be removed? I'm curious as to what you two have read and/or experienced with this.

I emailed James and he said the EGR can be moved out of the way, but I believe the EGR tube coming from the primary is stationary. His site says that the EGR needs to either be deleted or modified so I'm trying to determine if a standard EGR delete with block-off plate will work, or if there is a definite need to actually cut the EGR tube from the primary.
