Never Forget

I have always wondered if the Saudi money backers behind the attack acquired sudden death syndrome.

I'll never forget Tuesday September 11th 2001. I lost a lot of coworkers from Aon Corporation. May you rest in peace, I think about you often.

I can't believe it's been 17 years....

That is such a sad, frightening, and yet angering photo. I well remember it. I can't believe it's been 17 years as well. Many of us will "never forget". But IMO too many have forgotten the lesson learned.

I will never forget. I was on the mess decks, everyone thought it was a movie when the tv was cut on until Sergeant major came on deck and said “base is on lock down due to attacks. Call your family tell them you won’t be home tonight”. Months of training and prepping, getting things ready, and boots on ground for war. I will never forget. It’s as if it happened yesterday.

Living so close to the city this really hits home for me. I still can't watch this stuff all these years later.

I was out of boot camp and in A school for the Navy. I will never forget! Aside from my military service I’m not a carer Firefighter and I am constantly reminded how lucky I am.

I was pretty young (1st grade) but still remember it as if it was yesterday. We went home and my parents both watching the TV, making phone calls, had some family in NYC that day, they were fine.

Can't even watch those videos. Makes my blood boil. And to think, there are people that are still claiming it was an inside job.

I love the people that claim there was no plane either, the government planted bombs in the buildings

That pic from the OP is a bit much though.

It's been 17yrs and the 5 alleged conspirators have yet to stand trial.

biggest event in american history in the last 70yrs and all its all being swept under the rug and being kept super hush, hush.

That was the reality.

I can remember the day of the attacks clearly. It doesn't seem as if 17 years has passed. I watched the news as the replays of the airliners hit the WTC. ...and watched live as the buildings collapsed.

This was a sad day for America. Thousands of innocent lives were lost.

The jumpers always get to me.

Had just discharged the Navy and had just made it home from working in TDCJ and heard it on the radio.

I was just a few miles from the one that hit the Pentagon. The people that were standing outside with me are all convinced we saw the plane just before the impact. It was so low and going so slow, we could literally see there head silhouettes through the windows. It is burned in my head.
