Exhaust Drone, its killing me. recomendations?

03 Cobra I bought new. Within 100 miles I had a Bassani system installed. Seemed ok originally, but to be up front, I've only driven the car less then 800 miles per year. The drone is so bad, I don't drive it any more. I have heard Magnaflow is free flowing but no drone. Anyone with opinions would be greatly appreciated. I don't want any drone.

Catted or O/R mid pipe?

Put some resonators in. Or switch over to a mac pro chamber

This. MRT Catted H-Pipe here and no drone with Magnaflow catback. Even with magnapacks it's all good.

Just go O/R H that loses the drone. I have a o/r X with stingers and it droned so bad it would give you a headache; switched to a Mac H and it cut drone down but it made the stingers about 10X louder for some reason. Went with the magnaflow system and it is quiet when I want it to be and loud when I hit the go pedal.

I have not had a non catted X on my current car (04 Cobra) so I can't speak to power gain/loss. My current factory catted H pipe, Bassani 3" hand polished cat-back does not drone at all and sounds great.

I had a complete Magnaflow high flow catted X pipe system on my '01 and it droned a lot.

I have no drone with a catted bassani x pipe and magnaflow cat back (not magnapacks). I had a terrible drone with a factory h pipe and cats with a flow master cat back on a previous car.

Do this it friggen works great.

If you want no drone and want to stick with your Bassani X-pipe, check out the Steeda catback. My first setup was a Magnaflow X-pipe with cats and Magnaflow catback. Horrible drone at around 2200 RPMs. So bad it was hard to carry on a conversation in the car. I replaced the Magnaflow with the Steeda catback and the drone was completely gone at any RPM. It was quieter overall than most other catbacks, but still had a bite at WOT. If it is, I highly recommend it. The Steeda catback, I believe, still uses a Borla muffler.

OR Prochamber with Stingers=no drone.
