I'm not understanding what you're implying. The base car is $59k. If you want options like all cars the price goes up. Is this a foreign concept?

I think we are just seeing right past each other.

My point being is. I find it hard to believe the new C8 is 59k. Considering no one has bought one at msrp at 59k.

Kinda like saying you can get a brand new 2020 mustang GT 5.0 for 29k.(i dont even know what the price of a base gt is) but i havent seen one for 29k.

Im the gotta see it to believe it type. Since i havent seen it. I dont believe it.

Welcome to prove me wrong when someone post a window sticker from a dealership.

That combined with it being a 1st model year car...I do think it will be pretty solid, but sure some problems will be found once these are out in the wild in the hands of private owners.

Let’s be honest..the vast majority are going to sit in the garage and just be brought out to show and shine and rolled back into storage. Being the first of its kind these cars wont see much road until later on batches

Nah man. The Corvette buyer never buys base. They are optioned up guys. No option cars are for the poors.

What do you mean you find it hard to believe. It's MSRP is what it is. Not really an opinion thing. If you want a list of dealers selling at MSRP Corvette forum has a running list of MSRP and ADM dealers. This really isn't rocket science. Deposits and orders have been and are continuing to be placed. Now when will cars be built. That's another story.

In all truthfullness Ive had to argue with Corvette owners bragging that their car was 1 of whatever number and that earned it the right to sit in the front like an Exotic. Ive told plenty to kiss my ass that I saw 10 a day and it aint nothing special

The only vetts that are really exciting to me are the older 50/60s and the ZR1's. Otherwise IMO its just like a regular mustang, camaro, ect. Like you said the vett is like a dime a dozen.

Lol call me a poor then. My C7 Z is a no option 1LZ M7.

 the humanity of that. That’s the only way I would take one to be honest. I just laughed when Ive seen guys on the Vette forum say it was all the way or only the poors get no option cars

No. Cross wind shit it cool though, now that I know what to except. Scared the crap out of me the first time Jeff.

oh I hate that crap. I got jacked back into the lane by the work Denali once. Scared the beejesus out of me

I agree with what youre saying. But a base C8 has its place among the guys that already know their engine's getting pulled for Diamond pistons, billet rods and race prep on the crank to handle twin snails out in Mexico.

Grandpa builds will always have numbers in the production cue, but I bet there are a few guys with cash in hand waiting to get a base car to be the first into the 9's, 8's, 7's etc.

Cant wait to see them modded up on Street Car video or 1320 video.

I would go base all the way. Im just stating what Poppa posts up on the Corvette forum. Just come to Houston when they come out and you wont have to wait for 1320 video or anything else. You will see them monsters in the flesh
