There was a guy on here that bought a 15R for MSRP back when they first came out right?

If I remember right, he saw it on autotrader or something, drove over to the dealer and bought it lol.

apparently that dude got a smoking deal because his investment more than doubled if this dealers market target is correct

what was the initial price on the car?
and for some reason if what you say is true, description says one owner

Around $165k. All 4 options- McIntosh sound system, BBS wheels, and painted stripes/brake calipers. They are selling it "as new".

I remember seeing that car when it was "actually" new with no miles and priced right around sticker- back when no one wanted to buy them and before they skyrocketed in value. I then saw it being driven around Tallahassee by Les Akers who also owns Legacy Toyota. It's only considered new because it's never been actually sold/titled, though has definitely been driven.

It's an interesting dealership. Was ready to buy a Mustang GT PP a few years back and was told they don't give test drives for such rare cars.
Needless to say, I didn't buy from them or ever go back.

They had a bunch of 13/14 GT500's way back and their security guard at night was pretty cool.

A local dealer had a GT optioned like that as well, memory is a little fuzzy at this point but a friend's business partner walked in with a cashier's check for either 200 or 225 and they wouldn't take it

that's insanity. and the fact that they probably got what they were asking is even more insane.
Are you familiar with this dealer?

ya, it's a shit hole of a dealer, I ****ing hate that place, never had a good experience in the 3-4 times I've been there. When I was looking for my current truck not one person said a word to us. We even walked through the showroom floor past all the sales guys sitting around doing **** all and seriously didn't even get a hello. As we were walking around their lot soooo many of their cars had delivery damage - door dings and shit - it was unreal.

and unfortunately the reason they're still in business is because people will continue to deal with them, and they actually have good internet reviews

I may have misunderstood your post - Im not familiar with the one selling the shelby. There was a dealer here in Orlando that had the FGT back in the day.

Yeah. The seller doesn't want to sell. His wife probably insisted, so he can say he's trying.

I called and the rep couldn’t explain when I asked for the justification of 299.9. I told him 150k for an OTD price and he laughed. I laughed too.
