Besides owning a 07 GT500, I own a 1999 Centurian pkg F-350 Crew Cab 2wd dually.

But as some may know my first love was my GEN 1 SHO.

I owned a beautiful 1991 SHO + and was heavily involved in the SHO business for many years.

I did my own work and repaired customers cars, engine tear downs ... tranny issues etc.

I made the mistake several mths ago of listing my last few SHO repair tools on the SHOFORUM and got reaquainted with the car.

So for fun I put a feeler out that if anyone had a 91 SHO + black with mocha leather I might be a buyer.

DAM IT .... someone wrote back, knew of me and had met me at a previous convention and offered his pristine 91 SHO, black with mocha leather and he is the orginal owner.

Yes a 29 year old car that is a one owner vehicle.

We have agreed to a price and my initial plans is to drive my F 350 dually up and trailer it back. I will probably stay in rest areas that have security ( hopefully) and sleep there.

Here is a picture of my old 91 + and the second picture is of the 91 I am buying. Not a plus but it does have the fiberglass hood with the bulge

and the one I am buying

I had a ‘92 SHO. Great family sleepers in their day.

Good luck

Congratulations! I've never owned an SHO but I did test drive a Gen1 back in the day. I was very impressed with the car, but bought something else. Your original SHO looked awesome. The wheels did add highly to the overall appearance. How many miles were on your old SHO?

My buddy had 3 in a row back in the day.

a black one, a white one, and a red one.

Didn’t ford offer a police package on them with a different grill ?

That is a darn good question. I really dont recall. But as is the Shelby, it was babied.

I'd guess near 80000 miles after 5-6 years of ownership.

First supercharged SHO in the country and was featured in SuperFord Magazine.

The wheels are drop dead gorgeous.

MOMO ARROW'S and yes they were beautiful on the car.

First Gen SHOs are a car I’ve never driven (along with a million others) but fall in the list of “doable” on my expected budget as I get older.

Sweet find! Clean SHOs are getting hard to find and that one looks great. I owned a 94 SHO back in high school, this was around fast and furious hype so everyone else had eclipses and civics and I outran them all in my 4 door family sedan. Loved that car.

Most GEN 1 cars are rust buckets and or over 200,000 miles.
You have faded seats, cracked dash board and only half of the electronics work
Those cars are between -$0- to $2500
A well kept SHO will still have high mileage, prob some minor tears in the seat and not everything works, and possible a cracked dash $3500-$5000

I looked at a 90 SHO black on black and it was a nice car but not flawless. Plus he had the old version rims which I hated.

The black with mocha leather is rare. Hard to find.

The car I am getting is a 91. One owner. Won several awards at conventions, 117k. No cracks in the dash, no rust and everything in the car is functional. Does not eat oil which is a good thing and meticulously cared for. No sun roof which I didnt want
This car has everything I wanted, a 91, black with moca leather thats flawless, no sunroof. This isnt a plus ( + come with a figerglass hood, chrome trim around the windows, and a rear small spoiler ).

So all in all this is the perfect car but they guy wanted $10000.

I didnt pay $5000 nor did I pay $10,000.

The seller and me are happy bottom line
