At the point where I need to pick a color for my 1969 Fastback I am in the process of painting. I am going with Red. Now anyone who has chosen a color before knows that doesn't mean a whole lot. I feel like i'm at the point now where I am splitting hairs, but color choice is the last big final choice i'm facing.

I tried out 3 colors initially , Calypso Coral, Lamborghini Rosso, and Pull Me Over Red. Threw them all on a hood just to see the finished product with my owns eyes. I eliminated the Calypso Coral, and honestly side by side it's hard to tell a difference between the Rosso and Pull me over red. This picture shows more variance then the naked eye.

I am going after a solid red, and was wondering if anyone else had some recommendations given everything I have said thus far.

Torch red, might be biased though. But if we aren’t sticking with Ford reds then Guards Red has my vote. Beautiful Porsche color.

Pick your poison.

Guards red has crossed my mind. I am by no means limited to Ford reds. It is a gorgeous color on the porsches.

If you want bright red, the current Mustang/Shelby Race red is pretty sweet.
If you want a metallic effect, the ‘13-14 Red Candy tri-coat was killer as is the ‘20 Rapid Red.

The land of commies and socialists!
Not a fan of that orange but the red looks good. If it were me wanted to paint a car red I'd use tamco bright red or rocket red if you want a deeper color.

There is a guy painting his new edge on tamcos FB page bright red and it looks great.

Of the 2 reds shown, I’d go with the right side. Is that Pull Me Over Red?

In either case- PMO red looks better to my eyes as a finished coating.

This is a Mach 1 not some junker every kid has hot rodded in primer to pink.
Any color other than yellow, orange, gold or copper.
I am partial to red, but it has to be red, not orangish.
Just saw a maroon one at the cruise in, but it needed buffing.
A deep red with maybe some maroon will probably be my choice.
