This is a Mach 1 not some junker every kid has hot rodded in primer to pink.
Any color other than yellow, orange, gold or copper.
I am partial to red, but it has to be red, not orangish.
Just saw a maroon one at the cruise in, but it needed buffing.
A deep red with maybe some maroon will probably be my choice.

Did you look at the color I suggested?

Red as hell vintage Mustangs do look great. But maybe I'm getting old & think I'd grow tired of the extreme redness.
That's why I lean towards Indian Fire Red. It's a timeless color IMO. Unique, original, and I would probably not get tired of looking at it in the garage.

Of the 2 reds shown, I’d go with the right side. Is that Pull Me Over Red?

In either case- PMO red looks better to my eyes as a finished coating.

PMO red I'm 90% sure is on the left, would need to double check another pic I have. That's without the clear coat so it does make a difference.

If you're married to red and would prefer a Ford color, both Red Candy and Ruby Red are fabulous colors IMO.

You read my mind Sean. Indian Fire Red. And it's a correct '69 color if that matters.
I've chosen this color for my latest project after months of trying to decide.

I agree with this color choice. Unique and something you don't see on every Mustang.

Guards red has crossed my mind. I am by no means limited to Ford reds. It is a gorgeous color on the porsches.
