My new GT

Got rid of the Scat Pack, lease was up and time for a change.

Car is awesome. Handling is on point, power is there. Huge change going from a beastly Charger to a Mustang, but I'll get used to it in no time.

Super impressed with the PS4s so far. Night and day change over the 245 Goodyears the Charger came with. lol.

I have a NOS kit laying around that I never put on the Charger (glass pistons scared me). Haven't seen much data on spraying 3rd gen 5.0s but may have to give that a shot. Ultimately I'm hoping to add a blower of some flavor in the future.

Its been a journey. I made this guy work. In fact, he apparently quit working at the dealer between last week and yesterday when they finally delivered me the car 11 days after signing (brake pedal bracket recall), lol.

I have a NOS kit sitting here that I never put on the Charger. Gonna explore that option.
Planning some flavor of FI eventually.

Tune, CAI, some other bolt ons in the meantime. I’ve got a Bullitt throttle body and 2 different cat backs sitting at the office should I want them as well.

Apparently the bracket that holds the brake pedal in place has some sort of failure possibility. If it fails, the brake pedal goes with it and you have no brakes.

The funny part is, a coworker picked up a 20 GT three or four months ago. He has the same recall but already had the car. He has been told by multiple dealers that it will be 4 to 6 weeks before they can get him the part. When they told me I could not pick up the car until the recall was performed, I almost walked away because I figured it would take forever. It still took longer than they promised but 11 days was not terrible.

MagnaRide would be nice, but wasn't a necessity for me. The other 2 just seem to add weight.

Good luck getting the recall handled if you are affected.

Recall will have to wait until spring. It's going in the bubble very soon.

Where did you get it? Im in Tampa Bay and looking for almost the same car.

Which dealer around here? Some have been cleaned out of the "cool" mustangs for some time now and just have the ecoboost

I'm in Sanford, this was a dealer in Orlando, Greenway Ford. I only saw I think one other PP1 there, several ecoboosts and some base GTs.
