I am a medium rare kinda guy, but can also enjoy medium. Basically its all about the quality of the cut. Same for condiments. With a great cut of meat, all i need is salt. When the cut is mediocre then it gets some seasoning… lol.

I can’t get enough fresh pepper on steak.

Italy isn’t known for its beef, but they do make a great bistecca a Al Pepe verde which is decent. I honestly can’t say Ive had steak at Poivre, but it looks great.
Duck Duck Go is your friend.

I do it in an iron skillet on the gas grille on the porch, it smokes up the house something fierce
