acura is SOOOO far behind with their cars it's painful...the only exception is the NSX and even that car laked the infotainment that many lesser models have.

It's handsome, which is a shock from Acura these days.

However, as mentioned, $50k for a FWD tarted up Civic is mind blowing.

Also on the fence with the Integra name. Good on ditching the bullshit 3-letter names but not hot on trying to capture the iconic Integra name in a bloated 4-door luxury car.

3,200lbs, 320hp and FWD....ehhhhhhhhhhh

Didn't even know about this but it does look like it would be a fun DD considering it is essentially a Type R with more luxuries. That price is hefty though. Maybe they will be really cheap used?

The new Integra isn't what I'd call a "4-door luxury car", Jack. That's reserved for the bigger Acura TLX. LOL. The Integra is more of a performance sedan. It's just a bit more polished/conservative than it's cousin the Civic Type R. And more expensive. It's a very decent daily driver, for sure. I like what Acura has done with it.

It's a good looking car but 50k+ for a compact sports sedan is steep. But then again new car pricing is just getting insane.

I didn't realize the dash is so similar to the Civic.
Yeah, there isn't really that much difference between the Acura and Honda versions. IMO certainly not $7,250.00 worth! The Integra has more options than the Civic Type R, so the Integra can climb in price easily. I did a loaded Civic Type R (sans the carbon fiber wing and special alloy wheels) and it priced out to $46,588. A well equipped Integra Type S was $55,848. The difference between the two had jumped to $9,260.00.

For that money the Acura should have AWD.

The biggest difference I can spot between these two cars is the heated seats on the Acura. The original Type R from I think 2019 had heated seats then they stripped that option the next year. Crazy that's how Honda is prioritizing Honda/Acura models. I see Toyota had heated and cooled seats as options on their vehicles now, even for the 2nd row (See Grand Highlander.) Come on Honda, get it together! And I own a 2022 Insight Touring, and a 2017 CRV Turbo.

Mercedes AMG CLA 35 Coupe (4-door) is $49k with 300hp and AWD.

GR Corolla is $35k (and is the correct answer)

WRX starts at $31k and while ugly are making power with a tune.

I remember a co-worker had an Acura TL Type-S back in like 2007, was pretty decent for a FWD back then
