I bought a set of 6 back in 2004. Think I paid around $150 or so per wheel. Sold the set of 6 with tires probably a year or two later for around $1000-$1200 iirc. Seems like around 2010 I saw a vendor at the Bradenton track selling them nib for like $125 a wheel. Guess I should’ve bought all the stock I could and stored them. The wheels do look nice and are easy to clean, but quite Heavy.

No I can tell my daughter that she can't drive the car as curbing a wheel would take the rest of her life to pay off!

That’s exactly my point. The car build number is NOT listed. Which makes me think that those wheels were out of the catalog. If they were off a specific car, I believe the build number of that car would be listed and the seller would make it obvious.

So are you saying the build number of the car should have been listed in the BaT ad, or that the 00R wheels that actually came on the 00R's should have the build number somewhere? It probably doesn't matter much as they are the same wheels with the same Ford part numbers. What difference would it make?

No it doesn't matter. I'm just saying those wheels are not one of the 300 original sets.

I highly doubt anyone is going to know where the hell they came from. The wheels are obsolete, so it's probably best to hold on to them if you have a set

I have some new in box. Debating listing them..Don’t think they will suit my car

There is a maker of identical wheels for $800 for a set. His name was posted in the bat ad for the memorabilia. Not sure of the quality. I should have kept all of my extra 2000 R parts but, the offer was too great to turn down at that time. Looking to buy a 2000 R if anyone wants to sell one.

I can't speak on the 93R but the 95R and 00R rims have date codes on the back of the spokes. None of them had the build number indicated. You can use the date code to determine whether they were within the window of originality prior to the date the cars were built at DAP.

I know for certain that REAL 95R rims also have a full part number ending with -AA casting number on the rim. It is very small and you have to know where to find it. This number is NOT on the rims sold in the catalog.

I would suspect the 00R rims are the same.
