I have a King Cobra clutch, and stock cable and quadrant in my car and the clutch is like butter. My KC is one of the older ones from early 2000s that advertised a 10% reduction in pedal effort.

In comparison the stock clutch in my 2000GT is much stiffer. When I drive both cars back to back it’s a noticeable difference in how much softer the KC clutch is.
Pretty sure my clutch is one of the older ones. Probably mid 2000's. My clutch seems to work, but it gives my leg a workout.

Not Fox but i don’t post elsewhere here.

Decided to take my “beater” sn95 and do some paint correction. I wasn’t really expecting much here, because the paint was rather oxidized and feels rough.

Wash, claybar, 2-step buffing and this is what I got.

Didnt think it was going to come out so nice! Might as well ceramic coat while I’m here. Wasn’t in the plans initiallly but how can I not now. Any product recommendation?

Back to black! I haven't used any ceramic coatings yet because my cars don't see a lot of bad outdoor elements. But my daily driver should get it......

Nice job

I’ve been using this for years now. Works super well for me. Easy to use, and lasts a while. I use it on rims and such as well.

Yep, that's the same stuff I used on my 65. I posted pictures in my 65 build thread.

I got the drivers side window guide rod bushing installed. I did order a 5 piece convertible top weatherstrip kit. Should be here Friday.

I also have new door vapor barrier and sound deadener I'll be replacing.

I also need to clean up these door latches. I've never seen ones this dirty...

Well, I was finally able to add to my Fox Body diecast collection......

Got this one off Ebay. Pretty sure I paid double what LP diecast was asking on their pre-orders LMAO!!!!

Got this one off Ebay as well. Was slightly blemished so I got a good deal on it.

Found out ACME Diecast still had these in stock. So, I ordered one using my Tom's Garage membership discount. Sweet!

Besides some of the SSP cars, I think this is the "only" Fox Body I'm missing...... I'll get it one day. There's one on Ebay right now, but the guy is asking $525 for it. Don't want it that bad LMAO!!!!

Wow, $525 for that one. One day you'll find it on eBay for a more decent price. Patience pays off when looking for additions to a collection.

They tend to go up and down depending on what’s hot.

I think the one pulling the most $$$ right now is the old Ground Pounder and the all-black ‘89 GT hatch.

In a couple years from now, something else will be in demand and others will be cheaper. Teal/grey ‘93 cobras were top dog for a while, not they are a lot more reasonable and I’ve seen a few go for what I’d consider to be cheap.

I need to cull my collection. I have too many and they just sit in the box. Need to get some nice display cases, pick my faves and let the rest go.

I got the Ground Pounder when it just came out, so it wasn't too bad. However, I paid a pretty penny to get that all-black 89 GT hatch. Which is why I try to make sure I get anything new GMP puts out now.

I didn't know LP was issuing the white 88 GT hatch. Otherwise I would have made my pre-order when I could have.

As my wife always tells me "you snooze, you lose" Lmao!!!!

I use Optimum Opti-seal on the daily drivers. Price is right and can be used as a drying aid too. Goes a long way as well. Even as a drying aid the finish is so slick that tape will not stick. Lasts a good long while as well. You can use it on all surfaces. Shine is amazing.

The convertible is getting new top weatherstripping. It's much needed. Might change out the faded door handles.

Since the door panels were removed for fixing the window guide rod bushings, I'm replacing the vapor barrier and sound deadener.

Passenger speaker grill tab is broken so I have some replacements from LMR. It's hard to tell in the pictures, but the first door panel picture is with the factory speaker grill. The second picture is with the aftermarket one mocked up and the color matches better than the original with the map pockets.

I pre-ordered mine a few months ago and received it just recently. It’s an exact copy of my first mustang, an ‘88 GT.

I took the ‘93 to the gym today and then for a little drive. It was prefect weather and I didn’t want her to get jealous since the Terminator got the same treatment yesterday

Nice, I forgot that you have a 93 cobra. Any mods? How many miles?

They claim it lasts up to 5 years. What have you seen, longevity wise, in your own experience?

Peeked my head in the car over the weekend. Yup, still clean. Few more months…

That interior does look CLEAN! Is she under a cover? Looks that way. I peek into my G70 once or twice a month (covered) and it looks similarly blacked out. Couple of more weeks and the cover comes off.

So if I’m honest. The cars I’ve coated I haven’t kept long enough to tell you that. However did my white cobra in 2018, however it’s a hard test with that one. I lived under a car cover and such for years. Never saw rain, etc. I will be doing the hellcat here shortly after I paint correct that.

With that being said my clients cars and such I’ve detailed it’s lasted well over 2 years on some. Some have gone to detail shops if I was too busy and they tried to do their own, and pulled the sealant off. So from personal experience I’d say 2-3 years I can vouch for.
