Hello all looking to tap into the wealth of knowledge on the forum

Let me start off by stating my goal is to achieve 750-800 rwhp on 93 possibly with a booster the car is all stock currently and is a garage queen with the occasional spirited drive. I have been purchasing mods to go on in the spring when the car comes out of hibernation here in the Northeast.

I plan on doing this in 2 stages, the 1st stage is just doing what I can do. Currently I have purchased a FRPP mono and a B.P.S. ported stock elbow. I am in the process of purchasing a J.L.T. big air, 2.5 upper for stock T.V.S., and a V.M.P. Auxiliary adjustable idler. And am on the look out for a 10% od ATI. This is my stage 1 and of course a costume tune

stage 2, will be porting out the 2.3 trinity and lower intake and retuning

so here are my questions, is this going to far? what other supporting mods should I consider in the way of fuel (boosters, injectors, ext) I am hoping Bj from venomous tuning can tune the car ( I have yet to purchase the platform figured I will get what ever the tuner suggests). Thoughts?

At 800 whp with a stock 13-14 motor it wont live long at all on 93 octane! Thats is the absolute MAX that motor can handle without grenading. Ive seen some live at that power level tho but not many.

That 6 speed trans will need clutches. Stock GT500's make like 580 to the wheels.

Thats a REALLY expensive motor to replace! 93 octane and 800 whp dont go well together bro at all.

Ull need a fuel system and injectors, built motor, built trans, upgraded suspension to do it RIGHT. On E85 u can make more power safely than 93 octane thats for sure but ull also make a shit ton more TQ and that motor/trans wont like it....

U can probably get away with a boost a pump but I would recommend doing it right and getting a fuel system.

From my experience 800 whp is fun for a minute..... Then ull want more so I would recommened upgrading the bottom end if u can afford to that way u can thro a Whipple on it down the road which is also why I recommend a complete fuel system.

Built motor or not it wont like 93 octane at those power levels. I would spray some Methanol for SURE! Like 100%! Not to tune it but to lower the IAT's. I run it in my 13 Turbo Mustang and have a 3 gallon tank in the trunk.

But I would go one step further and get an Interchiller. It will add HP safely! I would be doing a chiller no matter what my HP goals were it just makes the car run a lot safer!

Get the stage 2 and if available for ur car get the upgraded intercooler pump. They offer it for the Hellcat platform just not sure on the Mustang. It flows a TON more fluid!

i would have Lund tune it.

Your hp goals are doable, the tuning is critical, I wouldn't / didn't on a canned tune.
Also, the FRPP mono T/B isn't a tuner favorite, some tuners can't / won't tune them.
I would find some local tuning talent & work with them......good luck.

I won't say it is out of the question that I will want more. But I am not looking to widow my wife either. I want a stock ride (suspension feel), drivable, safe, and fun if I don't get to 800 I am okay with that. I want to make the car mine though.

I spoke with Bj a little through email I think our wires got a little crossed, but what I was able to make was he prefers the twin 69. People either love or hate the mono blade. It either works or it doesn't for them from what i read. I am under the same ideal you are and that is to have a goal and buy once. I have thought about a local tuner, and I have also thought about learning how to do it myself not sure I want to take the time needed to learn so I am back to having someone else do it.

Headers and catless H pipe, tune, intake and lower pulley should get you safely to 700WHP. Wish that motor was in an S550......

wI have a line out on a 10% od and have a 2.5 upper coming. I haven't picked up anything for the exhaust yet (we'll call that stage 3)

I only had a 10% lower. Not sure if you'll overspin the blower with both pulleys...... I know guys have done it.

JMO, but you'd probably be better off flipping stage 2 and 3. Get the support stuff in place and ready for the extra airflow. Plus who knows, you might find a good deal on a bigger blower while saving for the port.

Solid point and it would probably lower the boost a little. I was alway told exhaust mods should always come before intake mods, however I am not thrilled with the work involved in putting on a set of headers must be my subconscious telling me to do it last. Lol it is my understanding the 2.3 is good till 24k Rpm with a 10% od and a 2.5 the ratio should be 3.124:1 which means at 7k over red line the blower would be spinning at just under 22k rpm not saying it's not fast but I believe I should be okay. Maybe I am wrong and someone can share that knows better.

It will be tough with a stock blower on 93. If you don't' have e85 I would spray meth. >700 and stock rods get a little iffy. Didn't see any fuel mods on your list. You will need 1050s and a BAP minimum. If you want to be a big boy and run E you need to go return.

You'll buy every wrench known to man to install long tube headers. Do yourself a favor and drop the sub-frame and support the engine from above.

That is one of the questions do have. Am I going to need just pump boosters or am I going to need both boosters and injectors. I don't have E85 around me so it's 93 or 93 with an octane booster.

Best bet is to talk with who is gonna tune the car and what results they have seen.
BJ is good, so is someone like JDM Engineering.

General rule of thumb, pick either an upper or lower pulley, not both. Safest bet is to do an upper and stay off the lower because the RIGHT way would be to add a crank brace to safeguard the stock crank shaft.

Not much to be gained in porting things honestly....(talking dollar to power gained ratio)
hell headers only net 25 rwhp......, but lower boost levels

How much money you wanna throw at it to go fast occasionally?

Here's a full bolt on list for going faster and keeping the car on the road.

735 rwhp / 710 rwtq on 93 Octane
Stock Trinity blower
JLT 123mm intake
FRPP 65mm T/B,
2.4 pulley,
Metco Idler
C&R Coolant Tanks
C&R Competition Heat Exchanger
McLeod RXT clutch
MGWII shifter
ARH 1 7/8s LTs
O/R H-pipe
3:73 gears
BMR Upper Control Arm
BMR Panhard Bar
BMR Lower Control Arms with Relocation brackets
EIbach Pro Kit Lowering Springs
MPSS4's front and Mickeys' outback

Now being serious. Before you purchase anything else, best bet is to talk with who is gonna tune the car and what results they have seen.

Thanks for your feed back. I notice that you don't have any fuel mods did the stockfuel system work? I have a list of suspension mods coming as well
Steeda adjustable rear upper control arm
White line adjustable panhard
Whiteline support bracket
J&m rear lower control arms
Lower cotrol arm Relocation brackets
All in an effort to tame the rear end with the extra power.

Are you running the stock balancer?

Stock balancer
Stock Injectors
Stock fuel system
No BAP's
Ditch your stock gears, go 3:73 or 4:10s it'll feel like 800hp
