Great project but why a 93 Cobra? I'd think find a clean fox vs an original 93. Looks like a cream puff cobra

What about a gss setup? They seem to be pretty popular with the s550 crowd right now. I’d love to get a vmp stage 2 or 3 for my 15 gt one day but the gss seems like a good bang for your buck.

ESS? Yes they are good kits.
Amazing build!
Im also modding a real ‘93 Cobra but for me it’s a keeper so I don’t care.

If I go power adder someday it’ll be a whipple or similar, but the Gen 3 power in a 93 is enough for all kinds of fun.

Agree on the modding of a 93 Cobra. This is the least special car in my stable and I needed a car to tinker with and don’t feel bad about doing so. Plus the car can go back to stock if it ever had to.

Now I have to know... What else is in this stable?

Check out my signature on the initial post :). I've left those alone, but have had the itch to tinker (after all, who doesn't like modding cars and spending money).

Hoping now that the car season is fully underway I'll get some time to lay out the build experiences and more details of the journey.

Dream build! car looks amazing.

when I do my coyote swapped new edge, this time around the power adder of choice will be turbos. I played too long with twinscrews. Time for turbos. Gen3 block for sure and maybe I might go with one big single. Just easier than going twins. Automatic. car should fly.

local guy has a new edge with what i think might even be a gen 1 yote out of an f150. Its basically got cam lock outs, oil pump, he might have finally done cams, single turbo and an auto running 8s. He does a decent amount of drag and drives and such with it. Impressive how it's held up to the beating it's received. If anything happens to my current motor it'll get a coyote if I dont part it out.

That is what my tuner told me to do. lock out the cams, gen 2 or 3 block, single turbo, automatic. Aftermarket ECU. Not sure which one I want to get. Going to aim for 800hp. That should be good enough, for the time being lol

yea do the swap. Its easier to find parts. Newer stuff. And these coyotes really do love boost. They make great power. Now that NY changed a few laws, I can do a 99 GT coyote swap. Even though it has aOB2 the car will only get safety.

BUT, I have also been seeing procharged coyotes laying it down. Even beating turbo coyotes on the street. Those setups are no joke as well.
