Hi Gang,

Considering getting into an automatic dark horse eventually. I have found a few dealers that are giving deals on them but will probably wait a little bit to buy since I believe they will come down a bit more.

I am curious if the dark horse motor is lightly moddable at all...are people tuning these cars? I feel like having another 50-75hp on the dark horse would be a nice fun setup for me.

What have the tuners been able to do so far? Videos and links would be great. Thank you.

You can't tune them (at least not yet)

Whippple kit will do what a whipple kit does

Roush was supposed to announce a kit, Procharger is supposed to have tuning coming...

A couple people are running 10's with bolt ons and weight reduction

Like posted above.
Whipple has the kit. Didn't know about Roush or ProCharger though.

Whipple kit is like 800HP at the crank. That Youtube guy Streetspeed 717 got his car tuned by Palm Beach Dyno after the Whipple kit and Corsa race exhaust,.........made some serious power and torque. On 93 octane and Boostane.

No tuning available. You should be able to get away with simple bolt ons without turning. Things like long tubes, exhaust, ect will add power. E85 is off the table unfortunately

Go with the Whipple kit. The Whipple tune seems to be aggressive enough to put down mid 700s on 93. That's should hold you over until custom tuning for e85 comes around.

Advanced Fuel Dynamics makes an E-85 Fuel Content Sensor Kit add-on. You can use it without a tune!!!

there is no tuning other than a whipple kit , which we can do for you, other than that, headers, filters, and suspension / weight reduction
