Greetings,

A week ago, I became the proud owner of a 2014 Shelby GT500 w/3600 miles (PP, TP, Recaros, Electronics pkg, Subwoofer, Shelby Cover) in my favorite color (“Eleanor” Sterling Grey w/matte black stripes). It was kept in climate controlled storage at all times and still has all the Ford tags underneath in new condition (never wet underneath) very gently used and loved as I had a full inspection done including engine compression and all is perfect.

Here are the performance mods:
Revan Racing built by Van
Lund 93 Octane Tune (also has an E85 Tune on the SCT tuner, but I prefer 93)
HRE P44SC forged wheels (satin black)
Nitto 555 Fronts (275/35ZR20) & Nitto Drag Radials (315/35ZR20)
JLT carbon fiber intake
65mm Ford Racing TB
Upper/Lower Pulleys & Thump Racing Belt Tensioner
ARH long tube headers & non catted H-pipe
Kenne Belle Dual Boost-a-Pump
Injector Dynamics 1000cc fuel injectors
Bob’s oil separators (driver & passenger)
MGW short throw shifter
Eibach Pro Series lowering springs
BMR adjustable front upper control arms
BMR upper control arm mount
BMR adjustable panhard bar
BMR panhard support bar
BMR lower control arm relocation brackets
BMR adjustable rear lower control arms

I haven’t run it on the dyno yet, but will take it to Dynospeed in the near future to see what HP/TQ it is putting out. She is amazing and pulls like a rocket ship. I’ve previously owned a C7 Z06 and seat of the pants this feels stronger.

Here is a pic on day I received delivery, one from the dealer, and one of the engine bay. It’s not a daily driver, but I’ll definitely drive it on the weekends and to car events.

Stoked and looking forward to learning from all!

I should also say.. if you have e85 close to you, you'll want to load up the e85 tune and give it a shot. There will be a noticeable power difference from 93.

Thank you. I’m not a fan of e85 in any of my cars due to increased potential for water in my fuel system and corrosion.

Also, I want to stay at a “relatively” safe level of power as the e85 tune would put my car at 797rwhp according to the tuner.

Your car, obviously your choice my friend, but I can promise you any "water in fuel" concerns are faaaaar outweighed by the benefits of increased knock suppression and cooling effect in the combustion chamber that ethanol provides over gasoline.

Either way... get that girl on the dyno and lets see what she does.

You were really fortunate to find a 2014 GT500 is as perfect condition as that one. Only 3,600 miles, nice mods, well taken care of. And, a 6-speed transmission. ALL of the boxes checked on her. CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations. Beautiful car! I concur that your hesitation to use E85 is exaggerated but it’s your car. Looking forward to the dyno results.
