I have a 96 with a spun bearing. Rebuild estimate is about 3K+1K labor I can get a pulled 2004 motor with 56K miles that's never been modded with a 6 speed for $2500. It has the ecu, but I am not sure about the pats/key parts. What would I need to get this done?

We all know why ford made the oil vapor dump to the plenum. It was an extremely lazy way to deal with an expensive problem. So flash forward and this is the end result. Plenum is clean, as seafoam can reach. IMRC plates are gummed up as expected, but not so bad as to be useless as sea foam can...

I have the ford HD aluminum driveshaft, but they don't mention the maximum safe rpm. Someone also mentioned pin clearance issue and they make a special pin for 4.56 gears for 8.8? I was primarily concerned about vibration in the driveshaft.
