I had success in avoiding grinding 1-2 shifts and 2-3 shifts after I switched clutches and got upgraded lines.
The guys at the shop also changed the position where the shifter was mounted so that it wasn’t relying on linkage as much.
Maybe someone can piggy back on my comment above because I...
Hello all,
I’ve recently parted with my GT500 and have a handful of parts lying around collecting dust. Most are OEM take offs but there are a few aftermarket mods. I am located in South Florida. Any shipping will be at the buyers expense.
For any of the OEM take offs just make an offer via...
I traded it in for 34k. It broke one too many times for me to stomach putting another few thousand into it to make it ready for more abuse.
With the new 500 getting ready to be released I’m thinking a few years down the road I’ll look into getting one of the next gens. Provided it doesn’t...
Haha, I never imagined myself in a Kia but the Stinger is a pretty balanced daily from price to performance to comfort. It’s no 700hp monster but so far I’m pleased with it.
My car couldn’t seem to stay healthy. I was using it as a daily so it being down every other month was getting old and I...
Last two pictures of my GT500 unfortunately...turning it down a notch for awhile with the new Stinger. Will have to see if the next generation 500’s can pull me back in a few years.
Update:
My Car went into the shop on 4/18....it took until 5/10 for Strange to give my shop a quote for a replacement axle and give an estimated time they would be able to ship it out. Im baffled how it takes that long just for a simple quote, not even a warranty job...just a straight up...
A bit of both lol
In the short term, just using direct replacement parts to get it moving again. Long term I feel like I’m on 4th down and ready to punt.

Food for thought,
I fried a 35 spline Axle with just a 2.4” pulley/intake despite suspension goodies, a CHE brace and bias plys out back...

I should mention that Strange actually called me back a few minutes ago and amended their stance regarding the the warranty process. I left them a voicemail and I suppose won a sympathy vote lol so the saga continues at least a few more days before I out right hit the reset button.

UPDATE:
There are a string of other threads related to this one but I figured I’ll use this as the main thread to update.
To refresh,
In June of 2017 I purchased the Strange S-trac and 35 spline axle kit. I had it installed in August of 2017 because it took that long to receive the parts. In...
I like the 3:73’s much more on the street and strip...but those ridiculous 120+ pulls in 3rd with the 3:31’s were always fun

I have BMR goodies and these tires...zero complaints.
For a daily driver application they are a good buy, the price is definitely attractive. They have no where near the grip of a DR or slick but they shouldn’t be expected too.
I do think they are a little lazy on fast turns compared to the...

I bought one a few months ago online from a ford dealership, it came with the adhesive already installed. Just peeled the plastic wrap off the area where the adhesive was and popped it into place.
I also was about to hydro-dip all the plastics but didn’t pull the trigger...if you end up...
Idk yet. Cars going in Monday and hopefully by Wednesday the rear is opened up and we’ll see what’s what.
