    Who digs Muse?

Anybody like Muse around here? I recently started listening to them. Pretty good stuff. Amazingly, they actually succeed at sounding different than other bands in 2009.

    A Little Wisdom.

"Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt. Chase after money and security and your heart will never unclench. Care about other people's approval and you will be their prisoner. Do your work, then step back. The only path to serenity." -...

I want to live in a trailer

I'm going to graduate soon and begin my full time job in the DC area. Buying a trailer (or "manufactured home") seems to me like a good invesment. At the very least, it sounds better than living in an apartment for the next 5 years and having nothing to sell when I choose to leave. Has...

    Tricks to reduce nervousness

Who's got some? Here's the situation: I'm a senior in college pursuing a Construction Management degree. I have a stout resume and every boss I've ever had, especially in the industry, thinks I'm a stellar employee - hard working, knowledgable, and reliable. I should have NOTHING to get...

    Who's voting third party?

I've gotten used to being the only one around who can't stand our current voting situation, and therefore actually refuses to take part in it. It's the most non - democratic "vote" I can even imagine. Especially since both candidates are so SIMILAR. So who's voting third party? This system...

    50,000 car thread

Don't know why it was closed.... BUT I wanted to say that Cadillac CTS-V seems like an obvious choice. MSRP was $50,600, so have her spend 600 bucks. I know it's kinda odd to actually use all $50,000 if that's the limit, but I think everyone would be pretty happy with this car.

    Say thanks

I figured everyone here would agree this is a good thing. At the very least, someone could send one that says "come home" ... even if they don't like the war. Only takes a couple seconds, it's the least we can do for the troops overseas. http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1280.html

    Can anyone help?

This probably seems like a shot in the dark, but there are so many members here I figure why not. If anyone from the Boston area can give me a ride to Hartford CT, or Storrs CT, while headed south for the long weekend it would be a miracle. I'll split gas for sure, any help is much...
