Get an x or h pipe in there w the muffler combo of your choosing. A long tube h pipe isn't very expensive and you may like it with the Mac catback

My p1 is really loud at idle. I've been around other vortech and Paxton cars and it's definitely louder than most of them.

Do you smell gas around the outside of the car? Or fresh gas? I suspect a tank gasket or iirc the filler neck gasket could be leaking.

Got it. I always heard it causes a vacuum and pulls the rings out to be seated. Fwiw i did a good deal of it on mine and see no ill effects from doing so.
