Anyone have an intake cam for a 03-04 cobra they havent thrown away already? lol I believe they are the same for cobra, mach 1, aviator etc. Let me know if you have one and are willing to ship.
Hello SVTP brethren. Some of you may already be subscribed, but in case you don't thought some of you might be interested in my latest project. Its a 2002 Lightning with only 73k miles and was fully build by JLP back in the late 2000s. Has a relatively unknown history since then but its pretty...
Looking like my motor is needing valve seals. Puff of smoke on startup and under high vacuum deceleration. I was told these aviator heads were rebuilt but never verified valve seals, so here we are. Motor is brand new and has zero blow by and runs perfect, so I'm leaning towards these seals...
Well some of you may have seen the youtube video on the 2003 Cobra I recently picked up (no big deal if not, irrelevant). Sneak peak for those of you that have, its got low compression on 1 cylinder, so motor is coming out. Its a mostly stock setup. 2.93 upper, longtubes, catback, tune etc...
WTB: 03-04 longblock. Must be in excellent shape with reasonable miles, good compression numbers, and i'd prefer it has the 9 thread heads. Stock or rebuilt bottom end and/or heads is fine. I'm located in the southern NH area but willing to pay for freight if you can secure it on a pallet. PM me...

The time has come to sell my 2004 Screaming Yellow SVT Cobra coupe. I’d like to devote more time to my other cars, and possibly find a Torch Red or Sonic Blue in the future. In the meantime, I won’t have have much time to drive this and it deserves to go...
Like the title says. I've done this with multiple 03-04 Cobras, try to buy a few a year that need work, which I then fix up and sell. Figured I'd love to try my hand at a Lightning. I do not want the truck if you want market value for it, so do not contact me if that is the case. The point here...
Whats up my SVTP brethren. Been a minute since i've had an SVT project to share with you, but i'm super excited about this one. Picked up an immaculate 21k mile 04 SY Coupe from a fellow member out of KY a few weeks back. Missing a few major components, but shouldn't take much to get it going...
This must be what the guys felt like back in '05 swapping the new front end onto their 1999-04 trucks.
The video is long because I wanted to make it easy for people to follow along step by step, so feel free to skip around. Enjoy!
Not SVT releated, but i've always enjoyed this section of the forum since it seems like most folks don't have too much brand loyalty anyways.
Ive had my c6 z06 since 2016 when i sold my turbo 04 TR cobra. Other than HCI build i did in 2017, i hadnt changed much until this winter when I dove in...
Just picked up this 99 cobra. In overall good shape but definitely needs some love to bring out its true potential. Will likely be a 2 or 3 part series. I am always buying these cars or ones like it so feel free to subscribe if you want to see more. Also check out my twin turbo z06 build if that...
*Old thread was closed, not sure why*
Like the title says. I try to buy a few a year that need work, which I then fix up and sell. I do not want the car if you want market value for it, so do not contact me if that is the case. The point here is that I buy them cheaper than market value, fix...
Car guys and youtube channels seem to go hand in hand these days. Any of you guys on here? Been thinking of starting to document some of my car projects/flips/shenannigans on youtube since its pretty much all I do. The last project car I had I made the effort to film almost every aspect. I...
Well I have finally decided to epoxy coat my garage floor. I will be paying a professional for a 3 coat system (primer, base, clear). I know it will be done right with the concrete grinded and prepped properly. Looking for opinions from those who have also had theirs done professionally and...
Thanks to suggestions from my brothers here on SVTP, I picked up a 2006 E55 AMG last fall as my new daily. For the past 8 months it has been rock solid and a great car, absolutely my best daily driver to date.
Sadly, a 2006 Tacoma pushed her shit in last week, and I am afraid she will be...
*reposted with my username pic sorry mods*
*Pics are too big for SVTP so all additional pics are here: 2003 Mustang Mach 1 4.6L V8 36k Miles 1 Owner
PRICE: $13,500
Selling a 2003 Mustang Mach 1. I love the car and it is absolutely beautiful but I have decided to build my c6 corvette instead...
Have an 03 mach 1 I am working on. It runs very well under heavy throttle situations. At idle and partial throttles under certain loads it has a misfire. Has thrown codes for P1131 (lean on bank 1) and P1151 (rich on bank 2). Also, per the picture below, fuel trims as well as o2 sensor output...
Anyone ever successfully had a upholstery shop repair a torn drivers bolster? Just picked up a low mileage mach 1 (same bolster as a terminator, sorry) and the original owner was clearly not very easy getting in and out of the car. Any ideas on cost? Seems wasteful to order a new set of skins...
Well my old job was 35 miles each way. That being the case i needed something that was comfortable and got decent fuel economy as my daily beater. My 07 acura TSX has fit the bill perfectly for the past 25k miles (1 year) and i absolutely love the car. Navigation, XM radio, heated leather memory...
Well I finally had it with the Boston area traffic and made the move to the great state of NH. Bought a house with a detached 4 car garage. Great right? Problem is there is an apartment above the garage, so the water heater and plumbing setup is in the garage. Right now the water heater is just...
SOLD
I will be selling my 2003 silver metallic cobra coupe. I really thought about keeping this one because how rare it is to find one with miles like this, but I think i want to build another diesel single cab truck to cruise around this summer.
This is an original California car. ZERO rust...
I recently picked up an 03 cobra that has a weird cooling issue. It will puke coolant out the radiator overflow reservoir (aftermarket canton or similar). However, the coolant it pukes is cold, almost like the thermostat is not opening. I removed the thermostat, it is an aftermarket "Motorad"...
Trying to nail down a cooling issue I have on a recently acquired cobra, and the radiator does not appear to be stock to me. I dont remember the stock ones having the tig welded sides. Also, I found this "vista-pro" sticker on the bottom. The model number does not come up with anything, but...
