ok..hes gonna need 100 shot to race a stock cobra is my point, look @ what my friends shelby and 03 cobra run bone stock and with just bolt ons vs my friends ser with bolt ons and nitrous its still not even = to come even close in 1/4 or trap speed with bolt ons and nitrous even with both cobra stock, and most cobras have atleast mods like my friends tires or bolt ons, good luck to your friend only way he can win is bad driver, cobras have no traction or your friend runs the 100 shot, because I will bet you good driver in stock shelby and stock 03-04 cobra, your friend would lose prob 2 bus lenghts on a 75 shot, even with a 100 shot a stock termi will prob run with him, and a stock well driven shelby will beat him still,remember they have gotten stock shelbys into the 11's.

the average driver isnt running 12's in a stock 03/04 cobra or GT500
its the ones that know how to drive that run those quick times and i'm sure its safe to say about half the people on this forum arent jeff gordon when they get behind the wheel to race

03/04 cobra's are 420hp lol
the spec v weighs 2600lbs and the cobra weighs what 35-3600?
i know GT500's are like 3900-4000lbs lol
he doesnt spray in 1st so traction isnt to much of an issue

thats funny cause slowest time ive seen is 13.2@108 bone stock, thats still more then half second in the 1/4 and 2 mph faster then his friends fastest time on 75 shot, thats a good 2-5 car lenghts in a race, esp from a roll lol. now add in a good driver in a 03-04 cobra or shelby and your talking a 11-12 sec car stock with trap speeds of 2-10mph faster,lol
either way for haha's I will ask my friend with a ser for video's of my friends ser vs my friends shelby and 03 cobra to show you how big of a diff them times are in an actual race

well yeah thats my point your friend on a 75 shot is running mid 13's @106 thats more = to a stock 2005-2010 mustang gt or stock 2003-2004 mach 1, thats like saying stock 05-10 gt's and stock mach 1's are = to or can beat stock 03-04 cobars and shelbys lol

oh and just a quick warning if the vids get posted, i was a little excited that we were beating our friend in the bullitt so i was screaming with joy haha
while we were working on his car (bullitt) he was saying he could beat the sentra even if his plugs were bad and the O2 sensors werent plugged in and that his long tubes ad 43rwhp....so i was just really surprised we pulled away from him by that much lol
it was all for fun tho and we're all friends lol

you mis understood me I meant normal or horrible drivers slowest times possible is still faster then his friends ser which ran 13.6@106.
slow time/ average driver in a 03 cobra will run high 12's low 13's
a good driver will run mid to high 12's in a stock 03-04

now thats for 2007-2009 shelbys, the 2010-2011 have run much faster being they are 540-550hp vs the older 500hp 2007-2000 shelbys, the 010-011 models have ran mid to low 12's and some have gotten into the 11's bone stock, mm&ff and 5.0 mag have gotten 11.6-12.1 in stock or tire only shelbys. and 12.3-12.6 in bone stock 2007-2011 shelbys.
for example we kno how slow of times motor trend has run and handicap there driver seem and even they have ran 12.7-12.9@110-112 in bone stock 03-04 cobras when they tested them, and I have seen them run mid to high 12's @110-116 in bone stock 2007-2011 shelbys aswell, im sorry but my point all alongwas 13.6@106 isnt gonna cut it, thats like telling 03-04 cobra owners and shelby owners to trade in there cars for a regular 2003-2004 mach1 or 2005-2010 gt because there faster lol

on race gas and a 100 shot it is around 350hp......

If I had an 03-04 Cobra that ran in the 13's and only trapped between 105-110, i'd end myself quickly with a blunt spork. Christ, I ran that with my GT on the stock motor and no power adders on stock Goodyear 245's...
