'02 GT HP/TQ figures?

Excuse my ignorance but what are the horsepower/torque ratings of a stock '02 GT? Just curious since I'm checking out a black '02 with 8000 miles on the clock.

At the flywheel. 260hp, 305 lbs/ft of torque I think. They dyno around 230hp, 265tq.

Thanks... Sounds kinda poozely compared to the L' but I suppose I'll adjust. They've got a black auto and a red 5 spd. $15000, take yer pick.

I take it they've got 3.55 gears! Actually they ought to run pretty good considering the power to weight ratio.

actually the GT's have 3.27 gear ratio.......the cobra and Mach have 3.55

Get the 5 speed. The auto will maybe dyno at 220.

The black w/auto is gone. The 5 spd. car is red and not for me. I'm going to keep looking for a black or gray GT or maybe a Caddy STS. Found a sweet black '99 DeVille with 30k on the clock for $10000. Drove the car today. What a ride! Like sitting on your couch at 100 mph. I know most of you here don't care for this type of ride but the 300 horse 4.6 Northstar engine is bullet-proof.
