Parts they wont tell us about

I just thought it might be a good idea for people to put parts that work and bolt on to the 03 cobra. Please give the part number w/ it.
I heard people have used K$N 0945?
what about a densecharger part number?
Other cold air kits
Exhaust?
pulleys?

What Holley air filter fits?

I was just talking to the Sr. Administrator about a '03 FAQ...:-D

I'll make this sticky so everyone can respond with "facts".

Most common modification: Silencer removal (see postban's sig) with "high-flow" filter :-D

That Goodyear Gatorback blower belt, PN 4080745, was for upper L pulley in lieu of stock upper pulley (belt is 1" shorter).

The Gatorback blower belt for stock pulley setup is 4080755.

I can confirm that the Holley 222-1 air filter is correct and works very well.

The diameter of the opening of the filter at that point is 4.5 (actually more like 4 and 7/16) inches.

Hey mjchip.

How do you have your EGT monitoring set up? i'm looking at getting Autotap and Mafterburner to data log my Cobra for a while prior to modding. I would like to monitor EGT, but i'm not sure what it would take? do you need extra sensors/probes, or can autotap or mafterburner monitor that without having to add anything extra??

Thanks.

I have the EGT probes in my x-pipe right behind the manifold collectors so that they are pretty close to the #4 and #8 cylinders. This is NOT ideal though. Ideally you want to place these about 1-1.5" from the main flange (close to the cylinder exhaust port).

I use dual Computech probes but any Type-K thermocouple will work. I also use a Computech digital EGT meter with peak hold but plan on installing two EGT gauges, with peak-hold functions either in my engine compartment or in the glove box for tuning.
