03 cobra Gauges in a 96 cobra

Ok my gauge cluster doesn’t work replaced bulbs, speedo gears etc...trying to find a replacement has been trying to find gold. Thinking about putting a 03/04 cobra gauge in it. Is it possible?

Not sure if it's "possible" (anything is possible). It's definitely easier/cheaper to find a 96-97 cluster and pop it in. They are always on eBay. How much can you spend?

I’ve considered that same mod as well. I prefer the look of the digital odometer and the SVT logo. The sending unit on the transmission also has to be changed. But not sure what else is needed.

I'd imagine just some re pinning and go. I know even for a 96/97 Cobra going to a 98 Cobra or vice versa there is repinning... Shouldn't be hard tho if you have a diagram.

There's an SVT tach decal on eBay for $5. Looks like the 03/04.

The odometer can easily be manipulated to read the mileage you need as well.

They changed the wiring in the whole car in preparation for the HARD harness found in all 99-04 cars except the Termi has a lot of its own stuff. You have to re-pin the 98 cluster to even go into a 96/97 car...

As far as the PCM being better. Nope.

I changed my around a bit. Led white lights. Sanded original tint off except desired areas 02 red needles and the red svt sticker from eBay. Last I made the turn arrows amber

Have the svt sticker already were did you get the LED lights? Might try this route before anything
