You need more mods. Once he goes with some 3.55s, he wil be further ahead unless you are ported and pullied.
I raced a buddy with a Power House turbo setup on his 05' GT, 5-speed. It was a 67mm turbo. I was pullied/ported, IRS, and stock clutch during these videos. Our first two races he had 4.10s which really killed his top end. At the time he was 450rwhp/488rwtq on 10#s of boost and running real rich. Our first 2 races were from a 35 and 45mph roll to 130mph. I won both. Here is a video.

Now just to compare, here is a rematch. This time him on 3.55s and a better tune as far as air/fuel ratio. I barely win.
