nice kill man...I've also been hoping to run up on a newer ss myself just to see how I'd do. a stock one of course and preferably an auto so my chances go up lol.

Don't worry you will easily beat one, I also have a Mach 1 with 36k miles borla catback, drop in k&n, mgw orange short throw ad frpp aluminum shaft and I ran one it looked pretty nice black on black from around 20-120. He saw me then he pulled next to me so I said oh he wants to run so when he hit it I did as well but we were together and I thought to myself okay we'll this guy is playing with me anytime now he will pull away but no I started to pull on him by The time we finished I was ahead by 1 1/2 cars. I know he was trying because when we finished he pulled down his window gave me a thumbs up and said "good run". If I can beat one you should easily beat one considering you have more mods than me. I also don't know what his car had.

Yes Sir, I agree. Like I said though, too many other variables involved. Do we know the weight of the OP, or the driver of the SS? Just last week my buddy and I ran our 03's. My brother and I were in my car and together we weigh about 430lbs. My buddy and his woman were in his with a combined weight of "maybe" 350lbs. He makes 13 more rwhp, I make 12 more ft/lbs of torque. I beat him by a fender 2 out of 3 times. Get rid of the passengers and I might have had a 1/2-1 full car on him. Trust me I hate Failmaro's more than anyone and it's great whenever I see or hear of a Mustang beating one.

My car is full weight. I have actually done nothing but add weight to this car because not only did I add a KB that weighs around 75lbs but I also swaped in an 03 IRS and FLSFC's. I was honestly suprised I got 3 lengths on him myself. I honestly expected him to edge me out based on the amount of power I put to the wheels.

Probably either an auto or could use a driver mod if it was a manual, but a kill is a kill and excuses don't win races. Good job!

I live in the Sacramento area. If you find yourself driving through sometime let me know.

Whereabouts in Sac? I would like to play. I've ran into a few 2V's in the natomas area that were all bark and no bite. You seem to have a nice setup with great potential once you start throwing money at it.

Actually I saw him shifting and doing it pretty hard when I passed him the first time. Maybe a better driver would have changed things a little but who knows. I could run into an SS tomorrow and loose.

Start throwing money at it? I could have bought a cobra for what I paid and then dumped into this car. I am on my second blower and second suspension setup becasue I hated my solid axel. My mod list is a little longer then you may think. Hell if I hadn't decided to ditch my vortech I'd have a built engine with ported heads by now. Black on Black car = Black hole money pit ha ha!

Lol @ upper class Rancho. So true, but thats Sacto for you. Hit and miss neighborhood wise if its not Placer county.

Ive got a little ole' daily driver LS1 that surprises people from time to time. I think we'd be a good matchup.

PM me your number if u wanna set something up.

Do you go to Sac Raceway often?

What mods do you have? Funny thing is that I was looking for an LS1 powered camaro and ended up with my GT because I couldn't find one that wasn't beat to shit with oil leaks from front to back.

I really don't go out to sac raceway anymore even though its literally 10 minutes from my house. I kind of got tired of the scene and some of the retards out there. Plus I have yet to see that track prepped well. My car is set up to handle not for 60ft times and with my KB and street tires I spin through second no matter what I do becaue I have damn near zero weight transfer.

I have a lot of stuff on my plate but when I get a chance I'll hit you up for some fun.

I have bolt ons and a mild smog legal cam. My car is also set up for the twisties.
Shocks, springs, subframes, roto joint LCAs, PHB Blah bla blah , lol. Its definitely not set up for the strip.

I too have a lot on my plate, but don't go into hiding... Lol. You have to show these "arrogant" LS1 owners what these 2V's can do.

I still havent seen that pm with your number. Let me know whenever your schedule allows.

Nice kill. Sounds about right since you make similar power to a stocker and weigh quite a bit less.

Good kill, I can never get one of these newer SS Camaros to play, or let alone any car. And the one time a bike wanted to play it was in traffic. I would think everyone would want to pick on a 98 mustang gt
