03 HD grille on 04 L.

Does anyone know or have a HD stock grille on their 04 L. I can get a 03 HD grille but not sure if it will work on my truck. I spoke with Local ford parts dept but they had no clue.

i don't see why it wouldn't work.....all F150 grilles are the same. My brother put an 04 L grille on his 00 F150......

From what I understand it is a direct replacement. Although if you want the lower grille to match you will have to go through this place http://www.j-jent.com/ to get it.

It's an exact replacement. It only took me one hour from start to finish to swap it out.

I used a $10 roll of chrome fender molding for now. I am having a spare lower grill chromed right now though. I hope to have it back in a couple of weeks.

Well since my truck is being stored in my garage, maybe i will throw the hd grille in and use the fender molding and see if I like it.
