I figured you would be the guys to ask. I have a 89 gt and have been wanting to put a t56 in it for awhile. Well ive been seeing tons of 03 cobra trannys for sale and pretty cheap. Why is everyone selling them and could i put one in my fox?

This is news to me. I haven't seen many for sale. I'm not even aware of many on this forum who have sold/replaced them. I know dealers have replaced transmissions, so maybe they fix em up and sell them through a broker?

You can put one in you well need to change the bellhousing McCleod was going to produce one about 6 months ago The price is about 500.00 maybe less.

Thanks man they are all over ebay the corral. Would make it alot cheaper for me. I guess ill have do some more research on them. Mayb just pick one up for cheap and go from there.

the only thing you will need is the bellhousing, yoke, and a driveshaft made

yeah what are gear ratios in those trannys? Anyone know how much power the will hold?
