03 TR 10th Anniversary 16k mile Cobra. TF wheels

SOLD!!!!!

Honestly im not sure what i am doing. i have been back and forth on possibly selling the car. i barely drive the car, and i almost get a guilty feeling driving it with such low miles. lol. i bought the car with 15,293 miles on it feburary 2011, it now has 16,6xx on it. i purchased a c6 vette last month, then my harley powerstroke got totaled 2 weeks ago. With the vette the cobra will see even less usage now. i had plans to build the cobra with kb 2.2 and fuel system, but have held off and the kb has become my kitchen table center piece. i have really thought about selling it and buying a already built cobra with some avg miles that i wont mind driving and enjoying more. Or just banking the money as it is alot of money to just sit in the garage.

This car was previously owned by Turkish, and VelociTT so you can follow most of the cars previous owners on this site. Two great guys that took amazing care of the car.

You will notice the motor was rebuilt per the previous owner Bo Hess. Here is the explanation Bo had in his for sale thread.

The one “issue” that some of you might notice is that the car has a rebuilt motor at such low mileage. The car developed some smoke after I had the long tube headers installed and the car retuned @ 13,250 miles or so. To cut a long winded story of problem chasing short, the car had detonation under WOT and developed some smoking/oil consumption. Neither I nor the car guys I know had ever suspected that it would have had detonation on the pistons to the degree it did. The heads are in great shape and did not suffer any damage. The smoking/consumption problem was the direct result of the detonation, and while the block was barely within tolerance, my engine builder Tim Rodeheaver had recommended we get the motor bored 0.020 over and new pistons for an essentially ‘fresh’ motor. All Ford OEM parts were used in the rebuild, aside from the upgrading to the Diamond Racing pistons over the weak factory pistons.

Asking $26,000 i do not need to sell, save your offers tire kickers.
$24,000 obo without the TF wheels

possible trades....? trades would need to come to me tho

There is a lein on the car, but it is through a local bank (10 miles away) and can have the title the same day car is paid off.

im not much of a picture taker.... some are cell pics, other just basic camera pics, besides some of the more professional ones Bo took.

Please do not fill my for sale thread up with negative comments from the stock hood and wing nut-huggers. THERE WAS NO BLENDING OF THE PAINT WHEN THE COWL HOOD AND SALEEN WING WERE DONE. It is my car and i modded it how i wanted, the stock can be easily bolted back on. There is 2 other cars that looked identical to mine stock that has TF mach 5 wheels ect. I cant stand when someone has the exact same car i like mine to stand out.

Nice looking car man! The engine being rebuilt should not be a big deal if it is built better! GLWS.

great car and honest seller! Good luck with the sale, Andrew.

Thank you Bo!! i still dont know what i am thinking. Other then the car hasnt left the garage in months, and with the new vette purchase and modding has begun on it. I can not bring myself to put the kb and mods on the 10th anni, and i can barely bring myself to driving it. Really considering selling and getting another fully built cobra with more miles, that i can mod, drive and not feel guilty. Or bank the money and look at the extra empty space in the garage everyday. lol

I was not in the market for a Cobra...However, this is such an awesome car. PM sent...

Pm returned

Lots of one time pm'ers.........the usual questions being asked if there was any paint work ever done. Not to my knowledge was there ever paint work done. Few roxk chips looks like they were filled in. There was no blending of the paint when the cowl hood and saleen wing were done. Seats are perfect. And there are no issues with the car besides what i stated in original post about the shift light!

I don't think so. People might be a little hesitant to buy going into winter let alone an election year of this magnitude! Hang in there.

SOLD! if I had the money. and time to come to states right now. This is a close to steal deal with this many mods done and none of the really big items touched(fuel/charger/turbo) and such low milage. perfect starting point or just perfect for someone.

I will be looking for this car in one year
