finally after 7 months:bored: started the car today.:rockon:

the set up is 5.4,eagle h-beams,mahle pistons,nav. heads,richard adapters,99 cobra intake.

the 5.4 dohc is a TIGHT fit,dont let anyone tell you other wise.(but its worth it):burnout: :beer: :bowdown: :thumbsup:

i get it back tomm. builder is driving it for a day to see if there are any leaks,or anything wrong w/ it, so ill get pics in a couple days.

Yeah I'v heard those DOHC 5.4's are a tight fit. As a matter of fact didnt SVT have to put the engine into the Cobra R from the bottom in order to get it to fit? Did you have to do this?

im not shure how svt did the r,but it slipped in there from the top fairly easy,just tight.
