A high torque stick car on streetish tires isn't going to give a great number. Definitely could use some good rubber on it for track use. Not every driver has the same abilities either.

I would hope a supercharged v8 with 755hp beat an NA 6 cylinder with 500hp.

It seems like nowadays, people's emotions are running too high. It's easier to say, that car is ****ing slow, rather than, understanding what it takes to get the best times.
