"13" - "14" Forever?

I had my forever 14 GT500 pictured in my avatar that I had to give up because of reasons I prefer not to discuss. I will be getting another forever 13/14 GT500 within the next year hopefully and that one will not be going anywhere. Still undecided on my next color combo...lol.

Same exact situation here. Luckily life has taken a turn in the fortuitous direction of late and I may be on track sooner rather than later to get back into the game. Ford will announce a new GT500 soon so I'll see how bad the price hike is and then decide whether to track down my old car (I want DIB, glass roof again) or try and find that combo again or jump into one of the new ones. I've got a real soft-spot for IRS and magneto shocks though so we'll just have to see how the market on 13-14s is looking compared with the new ones.

And original owners, congrats, may you keep your beloved rides until your last days. In 5-7 years everything will be electric and these will truly be some of the last and best of the breed...

My 13 Shelby will go to my kids or grand kids when I can't drive anymore along with my 71 Mach 1 I have had since senior year in high school over 40 years ago. The rest of my mustangs might not be around till I can't drive anymore.

Same here, bought my '13 GB/Black stripe in 2015 with 8K miles on it. Couldnt afford the new price at the time and my end goal was to own what I bought. It will be handed down to my Son and never leave my hands until 6ft under.

This sounds like me I bought a 70 Monte back whe I was 16 and still own it parked next to my Shelby with Zero plans on selling!

Thank you, I bought one of the last New 454 LS6 crate engines that was around at the time wiith under 3k miles to date it is 100% stock and original except for the intake, Headers and the bolt on stuff...

I ordered my 2014 GT500 Convertible with every available option, taking delivery on 4/20/13. I waited a long time for this car, and it is never being sold. It will go to one of my children, or I'll take it with me to wherever the afterlife is.

This car ALWAYS attracts attention. At our local Cars & Coffee events, I've lost track of the number of people who have said "I had no idea Mustangs looked like this", or "I'm a <insert favorite car/car brand> guy, but this Mustang is just awesome". The only people who call it a Shelby are those who know what a Shelby GT500 is.

My Shelby has given me so much joy and pride, like no other car I have ever owned.

You may not remember me from a few years back at the all ford show at Clay town park, but I did love looking at your car! You actually helped inspired me to do what I did to mine, instead I went with the better blower haha jk! Beautiful ride hope to meet up maybe next year at long branch
