So anyone want to post up a pic of how much of the caliper you have to grind to get the 99-01 sixer wheels to fit?

its really not much grinding more sanding, just on the outside top,
+1

I can take some pics as my wheels are off but I painted the stock caliber to hide the grinding marks and you can't tell anything was done to them.

I thought they changed the lug pattern in 05 and we couldn't run the older wheels?
Every wheel I've tried from older mustangs has bolted right on.

Anyone know if the 94-95 rims will fit the 11-14? I found a set with 4 1/2" Bolt Pattern. Thanks.

I believe the original wheels this thread was started about are off of the 94/95 six bangers

For those of you that are grinding the caliper... I know this sounds crazy... but why not just grind the wheel a tad? its only for drag racing and its not for turning or hitting bumps... I dont think that little of grinding would compromise anything? id just rather grind an already crappy wheel than grind my calipers. Just me though.

We did this on my friends 11 GT500. Bolted on the wheel, moved the car, then grinded the mark left on the wheel. It did work but was a lot more work.

I found these wheels to be lighter

This is the set I am getting on Saturday, I'm new to drag wheels/tires. I have a 6mt plan with these was a little fun on the street sometimes and cheap track setup. I plan to still run my forgestars for dd use and switch to these only when I want to really play. What tires should I get. I am lowered on k-springs with d-spec shocks and have 3.31 rear gear.

Have a pair of 95 (maybe) 15s that I bought to run the cheap set up. Ground on the caliper a little, decided to just buy some RTSs.

I'll give em away to somebody local. I paid too much for em to throw in a scrap pile. Shoot me a PM.

I checked them on a balance machine, so the rims are good and straight.
