been one of my favorite vids for a long time.
69 Fastback was my first car so it's a given that I love the Boss 429. From what I remember reading about them, they were severely underrated and Ford put little into the engine for production because they just wanted homoligation. They rated the engine around 370hp when it realistically should have been a 550-600hp motor uncorked.

Did he retrofit a Boss 429 motor into the Mach? Curious as the Mach 429 motor was completely different than the Boss 429 motor. Either way a 429 in a Mach I is a fun ride.

That's what I had when I was 15. Plain fastback with a 302 that I got for $2500. They go for 10x that now.

Hands down my favorite car of all time. If I was there watching that I'm pretty sure I'd have to change my underwear.
One of my all time favorite engines. I'd still like to build a re-pro Boss 429 engine some day. I have no idea what I'd put it in though.
Dont those engines sell for upwards of $60k when they pop up periodically?
