Finished? Yes....but, is it really? Old cars are never COMPLETELY done, I suppose. :rolling: However, after 6 years of effort, my Pantera is completed. From a shell of a vehicle with nothing but rusty parts, all the way to a magazine and calendar cover car....I'm happy to share the build and progress. Also, I can't thank my Father enough for the wisdom and aid he gave when I either didn't know what I was doing, or too frustrated to continue. The pinnacle of what I consider a Father/Son build and project.

After somewhat of a completion in May of 2015, I had some odds and ends to complete...but, it made it to it's first "car show". I was happy that the actual DESIGNER of the Pantera, Tom Tjaarda, was in attendance and claimed it was the "one of the more interesting versions of his design he'd seen." Whether he meant bad/good, I don't know, but it caught his attention, and I'm grateful.

With that said, the initial notoriety lended a request for the car to be featured in the POCA (Pantera Owners Club of America) quarterly issue (I know, I know....not Motor Trend, or anything). Given I had no decent photos of the car, I had Kat snap some shots of the car, and had some taken with my Father's car as well. I was pretty happy the way they turned out, much to the chagrin of Kat claiming the car was too shiny and didn't photograph well! After the photos were completed, a few other clubs liked the layout and shots and decided it was also worthy of a calendar cover and month feature with my Father's car.

Some of you did follow along in my story here, and I appreciate the kind words from everyone. It's not everyone's cup of tea, that's for sure.

At any rate, again, happy to share the photos!:rockon: (My apologies in advance for all the photos!)

You surely have a really nice Pantera there. Great work. Took a long time but man, so worth the time and effort. NICE!

Appreciate the kind words!

I don't have any really good shots of the engine bay. It's nothing outrageous as the only differences you'll see in a stock car is the roll cage mounting points and the completely painted engine bay.

....for some reason the transaxle paint started to corrode.
