New to SVT and SN95s

By an interesting turn of events I just became the proud owner of a 95 Cobra Hardtop/Convertible. Honestly I didn't even know they existed.

Estate Sale. Car is stock and all original with 39K miles on it. All the paperwork, widow sticker, owners manual, VHS tape, boot for the top and cover for the hardtop. Missing the rolling stand.

This Cobra looks and feels like a new car. The rag top looks to have been never used and is in perfect condition. Interior is extremely nice with the original floor mats.

Like to know if anybody might know of/where I can pick up an original stand for the top?

I see guys saying their car is #XXX of 499 made. Where do I find this # on my car?

And last of course. What is the realistic value of this car on today's market?

Thanks in advance

Pics please! I love the 2top cars.
I'd have to see see pics to put a pice on it though. I believe you can still call 1-800-Ford SVT to get the build date and #. Not positive though.
Hurry up with the pics already!

See this blog post and more specifically, scroll down to the comment by Doug at the end of the blog about a trick to determine the number.

A stand? You have to find one someone is selling and there were only like 505 ever made or something. There actually were a few GTs and at least 1 V6 hardtop convertibles.

You need to have the official hardtop to use the hardtop. Good luck ever finding one because, again, it was a 500 (plus a few) model run. You'd have to buy a whole car more than likely lol. Getting one that is beat to hell would be the perfect restoration candidate tho IMO. Just change that peanut butter interior out to black lol.

Yes there are aftermarket ones that any vert can use. They are... ok...

Here it is

The more I play with the car the more I like it.

The condition with only 39k original miles is amazing inside and out

Looks like they modified a true hardtop to vert, the body is prolly a cross between the two.
More I look at it the more I'm not sure I like it. It looks like a normal hardtop from a few feet back.

Shit man that looks like a carshow car... I dunno that I'd do a damn thing to it besides maybe just slapping a chip on the ECU to wake it up a bit. Maybe exhaust, nothing not reversable. Cars had a boatload of torque compared to the 4.6L and these don't run out of top end as fast as the GT. Same crimped garbage headers and horrific stock suspension tho. Gotta watch the fuel fittings on these too, the lines that go form the hardlines to the rails are a known issue and should be replaced with Russel fittings/braided line as a safety precaution.
