need some input fellas. Just a lowdown on the car;

http://www.svtperformance.com/forum...ra-mystic-21k-original-miles-fully-built.html

I purchased it and drove it for 3 weeks and it ran great the whole time, up until last night. I went to leave my friends house and get on it a tad. It shot a rich cloud of bluish smoke out the back upon leaving first and then stalled. I went to start it up, it turns over, and idles for about 2 seconds then shuts down. I did it another couple times with the same result, start, idle shut down. I disconnected the battery to see if it would reset and it did the same thing.

Today I went to start the car, it idles VERY rough around 700rmp which is much lower then it was before and holds the idle but with VERY VERY rich smoke coming out of the back. It appears to be getting fuel from the gauge but once i give it gas it sounds terrible then stalls out. Im very confused at what the issue could be. ANY pointers would help out at all.

whats your wideband say when the car is idleing? have you done the usual stuff like check the plugs, coolant level, does the smoke smell like anything besides gas?

A few things. Try unplugging the MAF and starting the car. See if it will idle then running off of a failed MAF.

You mention a 4 position chip....it doesn't have anything like an e-85 tune that you have accidentally switched to, by any chance did you?

Have you tried any of the other chip settings? Did it perhaps come unseated from the ECU?

I didnt switch the tune. I however did try a different tune to start it and that didnt work either. Where would i see if it got disconnected from the ecu?

Blue smoke is oil. Black smoke is fuel. White smoke is antifreeze. These are when it comes out of the tailpipe when burned.

Could oil be leaking into the supercharger? This could cause a rough idle. Oil burns in the combustion chamber but not very well

problem solved.

rubber pipe connecting off the throttle body was completely blown out of the bottom. Couldnt tell at night or at first glance cause it appeared connected with the clamps perfectly until you looked in from under it.

thank god the fix took 5 minutes

thanks for your help everyone

This is why visual inspections are not recommended. You need to physically check its connection to know its securely fastened.
