I currently have a stage 6 steig port on the car making 510hp and I'm looking for more power. I'm debating between a 2.3 whipple or tvs. I've heard a lot of good things about the tvs just wondering what you guys think is the best way to go. also what other upgrades will I need I currently have
-BAP/WIRE UPGRADE
-MAFIA
-60lb INJECTORS
-ACCUFAB TB
-sub connectors
-IRS brace
-head cooling mod
-rxt clutch

TVS all the way, Power has been a little higher across the board more so in the torque department. The biggest reason I went TVS is 1. the removable plenum which makes it 100 times easier to work on the car and 2. It whines like the eaton does at wot and 3. Not everyone has one.

TVS. I was going to go whipple next year just because it has EGR support. BUT I just passed in Illinois with no EGR, and no cats. The key is to have all your systems show up as not supported.

You didnt know that? Some tuner kids that inspect other tuners pratically turn the ECU off lol Its all how the inspector inspects and their thoughts on whats legal, acceptable and not.

2.9 Whipple for a few hundred more

Both are good blowers and you will be happy with either.
If you compare feature for feature the VMP TVS comes out ahead.

The VMP TVS has:
One piece case like a stock Eaton using OEM CAD data.
Removable elbow like stock with O ring gasket.
Monster inlet standard.
Your choice of elbow to fit stock/BBK, Accufab/Billet Flow, Dragon or the huge GT500 style SBTB.
Interchangeable pulley system standard.
Latest in blower technology. The same technology used on the 13 GT500.
If you have any questions please let me know.

1 for 1, TVS comes out on top against a 2.3 whipple if you have higher octane or E85 at your disposal. Cant argue that
